WOW WHAT A CAR - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

Took a trip through the rocky mtns. just after purchase, great performance,lots of room,comfort, safety features, and the 5 year warranty. I love this car. Have had lots of positive comments from passers-by, friends etc. Great value for the price.

By Extremely Satisfied - November 26 - 1:00 amI had read about the Sonata before buying it and this car has surpassed ALL my expectations. You cannot get better value for the money right now, period. I test drove a Lexus, the Sonata is 3 times cheaper but it is NOT 3 times less the car. I have had it for almost a week and a couple of people could not believe this was a Sonata, a guy even said it looks better than his aunts Lexus. The warranty is a killer who cares if anything breaks, it even includes free courtesy car!!! You can ride in serious style without being flashy. Handling is impeccable with the 17" wheels, massive tires, excellent braking distance, awesome metallic paint, very powerful and smooth V6. Outstanding!!!

By DR.BERK - November 14 - 11:33 pmI didnt think they could improve the Sonata this much but they did. Its huge inside; lots of trunk space and a lot of power -- 235 hp. How do they get better gas mileage than the last years model that is 65 less horse power? I love my new car!

Was in the need for a safe, realiable car to drive clients around in and wasnt in the position to spent $30-$40K on a car. I love driving my new car and my clients are impressed with the way it handles and are more impressed how comfortable it is. Thanks Hyundai.

Super Value, very good car. - 2006 Hyundai Sonata
By joe - November 1 - 8:50 pmI now have 30k on my 06. Would make the same purchase without hesitation. Yes, I wish fuel economy was better, but 200+ horsepower aint free, I get 25mpg city and hiway. Quieter than the Buick Park Ave I replaced. People comment on how quiet the car runs and at hiway speeds. You cant buy anything as good as this car for anything near the money, I was off the lot for $18,200, wanted a Passat, but saved $4500 and got much more back seat room in the deal. Service costs have been negligable, most appointments have cost less than $50, worst one less than $200. Still feels fresh at 30k. Dealer was very good, actually had fun buying a car for the first time in my life.

Hyundai Changed My Whole Opinion On Their Cars - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

I was sketchy before I got this car because of Hyundais previous reputation, but after driving it and owning it for a few months, I am very impressed. I want to start off with my absolute favorite thing about this car - it rides so incredibly smooth, and the road noise is minimal inside of the cabin. Seriously, the smoothness of the ride is right up there with GMs more luxurious brands (Buick, Cadillac). The acceleration is impressive (I have the 3.3L V6), and the breaking is great. Another thing Id like to note is how great the overall visibility this vehicle provides. As for the interior, the layout of the radio, AC controls, and the car controls (turn signals, wipers, etc.) is pretty simple and easy to learn relatively quick. However, while I do enjoy the simplicity of the layout, I have to say I dont care for how basic this car is. I know it isnt the LX, but still, this car seriously lacks some features that other cars in its class (Accord and Camry) have. The backseat provides decent leg room and is somewhat roomy for the passengers. This car is 10 years old now, and Im still impressed with the driving characteristics of this vehicle, and my opinion of Hyundai has absolutely changed.

Solid smooth performer - 2006 Hyundai Sonata
By Zaf - September 15 - 2:40 amThe Sonata is great value for money. Quality is acceptable even for an entry level luxury car. Will not set the car lanes on fire but is a consistently solid performer on the road. Well thought out interior, fairly good quality of accoutrements. Excellent interior room and comfort. Smart looking exterior. Needs a better radio. Got my LX with sunroof and audio package for 19,700 after $2000 in rebates and $1000 loyalty bonus!! This is a sensational price for a car of this quality. Lumbar support seems to be a bit minimal.

Hyundai doing better than LEXUS - 2006 Hyundai Sonata
By Maximus - September 9 - 6:10 amI never expected excellent quality from Hyundai until today. Well this one runs like a Lexus ES330. Well actually better than the Lexus. The top two Japanese brands - Honda and Toyota won their high reputation over the past couple decades. I think Hyundai will achieve the same high reputation within the next two years. This 06 Sonata OUTPERFORMS Toyota Camry and Honda Accord not only by the price advantage but also by its built quality and superior performance! Also check out the new AZERA (Premium package including 2 memory seats and a navigation). This model will be built to compete over the Lexus ES330, Acura TL, BMW 3 series and Infinity M35 etc.

After all of those test drives youd think one could find a car for 20.000 to 25.000 that was a QUALITY car.then I test drove MY 2006 hyundai sonata gls. WOW !! PLENTY OF POWER VERY ROOMY INSIDE GAUGES & CONTROLS WHERE NEEDED !!GO DRIVE ONE OF THESE.
