  Was looking to trade in a a 2000 Accord with manual transmission for a 2006 model. Have always driven a manual but wife (Elantra driver) suggested 2006 Sonata. Well done wife. We got the LX with the extras and Ive been very impressed so far. No major flaws. Very comfortable (Im 62" and 230lb) and plenty of space for 4 adults (the inlaws). We drove the 2006 Accord V6 and the Camry V6 and simply thought the Sonata was better. Enough said.

  Great car except for suspension noise - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

  We realy like our new 06 Sonata LX except for one thing. The suspension on these cars make a really loud sound when going over bumps. It makes the car sound like a bucket of bolts. This has been a major topic of discusion on the Hyundai forums with a lot of owners looking for Hyundai to provide a solution. Its to bad because other than that its an outstanding car. You listing Hyundai? Wheres our fix!!

  I current own a Korean-built New Sonata aka NF Sonata in Korea. It is an absolutely hot ride. I used to have 03 Honda Accord. But Sonata is a winner! Two thumbs up..

  Sold off my old Camry XLE V6, and got an LX V6 Sonta. It has every feature you find in higher priced cars, but sells for under 25K with better warranty. No more toyota for me. I also tested the 05 camry SE V6, and toyota dropped the ball; that car simply doesnt handle well even with the ESC. I looked at Avalon, and its much better but the price is 10K more.

  When I went car shopping, I test drove bunch of 4 door sedans like maxima, camry, accord, and TL. All of the V6 models. Non of those cars were as quiet as Hyundai Sonata was. some of those V6 models had little bit more horsepower, but Sonata is a pretty light car and the V6 model has more than enough power to handle its business.

  I have owned many different types of vehicles, excepting SUVs, trucks, and real sports cars. Of them all, I really like this vehicle. Having driven a 4.6 V-8 for six years I was skeptical about this 4-cylinder but, after six weeks I now have no reservations at all. Its a very refined car for the price, and overall has a better highway ride than my previous 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis. I get many compliments on its looks. I am very satisfied.

  This car is well equipped and is fun to drive. It truly delivers a smooth ride and is worth every cent. In fact, Ive gotten a lot looks from other motorists and they are very impressed with its new design. The dual crome exhaust pipes are also awesome as it gives the car a fierce look. I cant wait to see what Hyundai delivers in the future.

  After much research, i decided to test drive the Hyundai sonata. Wow Hyundai you really did a great job with this car. style, performance, safety,and it looks great.I was sold when i hit the accelerator.
