I like the comfort and all the extras that are standard. The quickness makes it fun to drive, I jump from zero to forty in seconds.

  • Best Car Yet I Have Ever Owned. - 2006 Hyundai Sonata

I Have owned many cars before but when i tried this car out on a test car and found that the power was outstanding cornering was exeptional and comfort was past comparison to anything I have owned before. I was sold before I exited the freeway, I will buy another sonata again without a doubt. Its about time a good car was made and to high priced.

I stopped in to just take a look and walked out with the paperwork. Very impressive and different feel than what I expected from a Hyundai. Pretty decent HP at 235, decent pickup and a nice feel to the car in all situations tested. Quality inside and out with a solid feel to doors and trunk lids. Loads of safety features and airbags everywhere. I was pretty impressed with the quality and the price at $23k was just an added benefit. I chose this over the Accord V6. The cars I now lease and drive include a Saab Aero 9-5 Turbo and a Mercedes E320. It is the Saab that the Sonata is replacing. Not quite as fast as my Saab Turbo but still quite acceptable and $15,000 less!!!!!!!!

I originally was in the market for a Honda Accord or a Toyota Camry. The reviews for the 2006 Sonata caught my eye and I decided to give it a test drive. This is a GREAT car! I test drove the Accord and Camry the same day as the Sonata. The Hyundai is the most quiet, refined, comes with the most included options, and is several thousand dollars under the competition! Not to mention the best warranty in the business. I am very happy thus far with my purchase and was pleasantly surprised when I realized how large the trunk really is after a recent shopping trip. If you want a very roomy, sporty, refined sedan this is the car for you!

Look and drive like a 30K car for under 20K after rebate. You cant get more for your money.

For a $16,266.62 OTD price, no-one could come even near this car. Just got 7500 miles on it. Excellent ride. Great MPG for the size of the car. Average 27MPG, worst 23MPG-city (driven by my wife :) ), BEST - 30MPG-freeway (average 65MPH). Just came home from a vacation. On 75MPH (average) had 28MPG. Big trunk, was able to fit all skies except mine + the luggage for family of 4. Mine skies ended up in between the seats. Roomy interior. Flimsy parking brake handle. Soft plastic on the back, bent under pressure. Kick-down very slow, there is some delay. NON fold-a-side rear view mirrors. Driver seat not so supportive. Doesnt have an opening on the rear seats for placing skies in the trunk.

I had my eye on the 2006 Sonata from the first day I received a promo in the mail. After reading many reviews I was conviced this was the car for me. Lots of room for my family, including my 17 month old, her car-seat and all the extras a little one needs. The car is very well built, stylish, and sporty, not to mention a blast to drive. I would have spent close to 30K for a compairable model from Honda or Toyota instead of the 24K I spent for this baby.

If you told me two years ago that I would buy a Hyundai I would have laughed out loud. I bought a Hyundai Sonata LX loaded and I love it. It drives great, it looks great and the stereo sounds great. The car really handles has great pick up and incredible brakes. The design is beautiful and the interior controls are well thought out and easy to use. My overall experience with this vehicle is very positive.

As a person that has not owned anything smaller than a full size American car,the ride, performance, and handling of this were the biggest surprise Ive ever gotten from a car. The car performs exceptionally well! The ride takes a little getting used to. I purchased the car for the warranty, and got a big surprise.

We had it delivered to our house today. A solid hunk of steel and technology with all available options included in the price. We paid 24385 out the door inclusive of 6 per cent Michigan sales tax. Dual exhaust, multi cd, power sunroof, seats. 235 horsepower all aluminum V6 5 speed transmission, heated seats. You name it. It has it. A 4 cylinder Honda sedan stickered at over 24 thousand without the options the Hyundai has. What a buy. What a car. Finally the 10 year 100 thousand mile warranty! What more could you ask for?
