This Year's Model Updates:

After debuting last year, the Volkswagen CC sees a handful of changes for 2010. Among them are the 2.0T's adoption of VW's six-speed automated-clutch DSG transmission (it replaces last year's conventional six-speed automatic), newly standard Bluetooth, a new touchscreen-operated audio system, new wood accents for the VR6 and new rear badging that shows "CC" and indicates the trim level.

Pros:
  • Peppy and fuel-efficient base turbo engine, powerful optional V6, balanced ride and handling, well-equipped, stylish inside and out, available all-wheel drive on VR6 model.
Cons:

I completely agree with the review posted by Chris on 9/20/10 (see below). I have now owned this car for one year and Im here with an update. I still love this car for its sleek looks and fuel economy. BUT, I really hate it for its harsh ride and excessive road noise. The frameless doors are cool but annoying, especially when they freeze up in the winter and dont lower as they should to allow you to get in. They also cause too much wind noise on windy days. The car also makes some rattling sounds on rough roads. It feels underpowered at low speeds. Next time I would consider a Ford or Buick simply for better noise insulation and smoother ride. The keys on CCs keyfob are also hard to push.

  • Wow! Love this car! - 2010 Volkswagen CC

In May of 2009 I leased a shadow blue metallic CC. This is my second VW. The first one I leased was a 2006 Jetta which I also loved. In October 2009 my CC was hit hard in the right rear panel and was totaled. I was impressed of how solid the car felt and how it took the impact of the accident as a SUV was the one who hit me. I loved it so much that I went back to the same dealership and said "I want the exact car in 2010 with the same options". The 2010 colors with two tone interior were exactly the same as 2009.I was so happy to get the 2010 CC back. People follow me into parking lots to ask what kind of car is this? They also love the blue color that has a purple hue in the sun.

  • VW Hits a Grand Slam Home Run! - 2010 Volkswagen CC

Wow! I own a Mercedes SL55AMG and an Escalade EXT but the CC Sport might just be my favorite car to drive. The car is without a doubt a head- turner. Then it is a head- scratcher. "Thats a Volkswagen - wow!" I get that a lot, and I mean a lot. Lets face it, the car looks like a Mercedes, drives great and costs about half what the Merc would ask. This car performs incredibly well and has smooth, yet powerful acceleration. I added some 20"s and wheels and voila!, I have a luxury sport car that I can drive every day. Dont walk - run - to test drive this car. Youll fall in love with it. I did and so do the 2 - 3 people who stop me in the parking lot on a daily basis!

VW CC is my first VW ever. I was falling in love at first sight. The design is so classy both inside and out. I hope VW overcame with the reliability with electronics. Ive driven it for nine months and I still look forward to drive it every morning. Clutch seems more sensitive compared with Japanese cars. I stalled it more than I wanted.

  • Waited 2 years to decide on this! - 2010 Volkswagen CC
    By -

Since the CC came out, Ive been following every review of the car out there to make a decision. And yesterday I went and picked one up! Couldnt be happier and it was well worth the wait because I got a decent deal on it. Love everything about this car as I fell in love with the 2009 version when I first test drove it. The 2010 touchscreen addition gives the car a class although I wish it came standard with navi. Well worth the price and I get many compliments from friends and co-workers. This was my graduation present to myself and I couldnt be happier. If youre planning on getting this car, get it now because once the 2010s are gone you wont be able to get a good deal until next year.

  • Love the car - suggest the manual trans - 2010 Volkswagen CC

Had for 6 months, no complaints. Test drove the automatic and went with the 6 speed manual (which leaves you with the sport model). I would have liked the sunroof and the homelink from the Lux model, but for anyone who has not drove one of these with the manual transmission, you are missing this car at its best.

  • Double Take - 2010 Volkswagen CC
    By -

Everyone I have shown the vehicle to does a double take. They say "that is a VW." I also had the factory body kit installed (Look up Gold Coast CC and that is the body kit ,they lowered the Gold Coast version), it gives the vehicle a more aggressive look for those who still want that. I even had 2 other CC owners come up to me and say they wish they had installed the body kit. I have been pleased with the vehicle in every way Nav system, Sound System, Bluetooth, ect. Two tone seats really give it that classy euro look. Smooth ride -- drove it to S. Carolina and New Orleans from Cincy no problem got between 31-34 MPG.

  • Switched from Accord - No Regrets!!! - 2010 Volkswagen CC

I had driven Honda products for 15 years. When my 03 Accord was due for replacement, I found myself not liking the New Accord. Frustrated, looked at Audi, BMW and finally ended up driving away in a CC. The things that sold me on the CC over the others were the following items. 1. Bluetooth Intregration was perfect. Being able to see my phone book in the dash and the setup overall is the best system Ive ever used. 2. Radio. Teriffic touch screen setup. 3. Seats. Best Ive ever had. 4. Interior. Again, it made the accord look cheap. 5. Engine/Drivetrain. Fast and Effecient. 6. Build. Solid. Ive had no problems in 16k miles. My Honda had several. In short, this a GREAT car!

I have owned lots of vw from rabbit to jetta and passats but this car is above and beyond my expectations. smooth drive and very quiet cabin, no road noise at all . we took a road trip did about 80 mphs and got 31 mpg. used only chevron 91 octane. fit and finish is excellent and most people think its a benz. which i have to correct them.

  • VW Headache - 2010 Volkswagen CC

This is nothing more than a Jetta with a new suit of clothes. Nothing but trouble from day one. Totally unreliable and falling apart. Cant wait for lease end to dump this bad boy.
