By Bob B - August 1 - 8:33 amDrive this truck coast-to-coast twice a year. Able to haul lots of stuff and still able to get 18-19 mpg at 68-69 miles an hour. The ride is smooth and comfortable.

I wish I could afford to drive it. - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By 4jblund - July 17 - 10:00 amThis is the nicest pickup Ive ever driven and really enjoy driving it. I just wish I could afford to drive it more. It gets real bad gas mileage (16mpg) is the best Ive achieved so far. Im guessing Toyota put the 4.08 rearend in it to compensate for the less horsepower than the competition. They could have improved this by putting more horses in the motor (Ive seen the racing cars, I know they can) then put a 3.50-3.73 rear in it. If I were pulling something big I wouldnt have bought it, I would have gone diesel. They arent catering to their buyers. It does what I wanted just the mileage is sad.

tundra double cab limited - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By rocklan - June 10 - 2:00 amAwesome truck. Drives like a sports car. Needs bigger armrest and more comfy front seats. Other than that this truck is top notch. Dont skimp with the SR5 package, the Limited package transforms the vehicle from a Toyota to a Lexus

Dallas Review - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By Z - June 3 - 10:46 pmAfter looking at Dodge and Ford we agreed that the Toyota Tundra would be a better deal. Not financially, but overall including workmanship, resale value, size, comfort, amenities and visual appeal. Buying it one year used brought the price down right where it should be. I love the space, the smooth ride and the quiet interior. It doesnt have a great turning radius, but everything else is top notch. I plan to get the mileage out of this one. Just pricey.

driving performance - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By bfrel - May 4 - 2:00 ampurchased a new 04 d- cab w\ aftermarket perf. tires & wheels. The foot print of the tires is so great that the veh. follows the road surface and pulls you into the opposing lanes of traffic. Met with the dist. rep. regarding this matter and was advised there was nothing that could be done to resolve this matter. I was never advised by the salesman nor the manager of this issue with these tires, if I had been I would not have pur. the veh. due to my family using this veh. as a primary mode of transport.

Tundra Fan - 2004 Toyota Tundra
By Alpha Truck - May 4 - 2:00 amThis 4 DR. truck has nice pickup and rides as smooth as the top of the line Toyota cars. The motor has smooth acceleration and trans shifts smooth. Plenty of room in back for 3 plus the convience of a pickup for hauling whatever.
