Nissan adds a roadster to the 350Z lineup. Available in Enthusiast and Touring variants, the 2004 Nissan 350Z roadster offers the same performance and handling as the Z coupe but with the added fun of top-down driving. In other news, satellite radio (either XM or Sirius) is a new option this year for the Touring version of the coupe.

• Smooth and powerful V6 engine, excellent handling, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.

• Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

  There are a couple of small annoying things about this car. When you close the top it rolls both windows down but doesnt roll them up automatically. Several times Ive almost gotten out without closing them. The storage compartments are impossible to navigate while in the car! Having said that, this car is an absolute BLAST to drive! The wind deflector is awesome, I can drive with the top down on the interstate and have a normal conversation with my head set on my cell phone, the caller doesnt even notice Im in a car! My hair doesnt blow, you can wear a hat going 90 with top down NO PROBLEM. Not that I go 90 mind you...

  Just three weeks of ownership, & Im sold with this i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e machine! Ergonomics, performance, LOOKS!, Nissan quality...you-name-it, I LOVE this coupe/sports car. At $22,000, with just 13200K on it, my conscience is killing me - I ripped off a friend!!!

  Great Car - 2004 Nissan 350Z

  Ive always loved the Z and this one is no exception. The Z is a blast to drive, whether it be through a twisty road, the empty highway, or the pacific coast highway. The shifter is smooth an the throws are quick. Plenty of torque so you never feel short on power an the sound of the engine revving up is amazing. Handling is excellent. Body roll is almost non-existent. Seats hold you in tight as you take the corners. Brakes react quickly and interior design is driver oriented. Overall its just a great car.

  I owned a nissan 350z for about 6 months Id like to have owned it longer but unfortunately I was in an accident in it. The car was totaled. It rolled twice after hitting a large boulder. All of this happened because of my error no part of the cars handling or control was at fault. Anyway, I walked away from the accident with only two bruises, both from the seatbealt. All six of the cars airbags deployed and in the end the frame of the car was still in excellent condition given the fact that I had rolled it so many times and struck such a large object.

  MY LAST 3 CARS IN MY DRIVEWAY WERE A VIPER ROADSTER, A CONVERTABLE CORVETTE AND A MERCEDES CLK. THE 350Z CONVERTIBLE IS MORE FUN THAN ANYTHING ELSE LISTED. THE 350Z IS VERY EASY TO DRIVE, AND REQUIRES NO DRIVING SCHOOLS. THE ELECTRIC TOP OPERATES WELL. THE STYLING IS BEAUTIFUL AND TURNS HEADS EVERYWHERE.

  I love my 350! The style is HOT! It is indisputably the best looking car on the streets, and nothing pleases me more than being the first car at the stop light! WHEW! This car is a truly eye candy like its driver! The now discontinued BRICKYARD color makes us a rare and true sight to behold.

  This Z has a body design that people really love to look at. The interior features are well thought out, the CD console and temp controls are easy to reach. The seats are the most comfortable I have ever sat in, and make driving a pleasure.The car just the best in comfort and drivability. I test drove the competitors and this Z won hands down.

  The experience I have had with my 350Z...is awesome! I love driving my Z...it handles the road really good. In comparison to my vette, I give thumbs up to the 350Z anyday.
