Overview & Reviews
Nissan adds a roadster to the 350Z lineup. Available in Enthusiast and Touring variants, the 2004 Nissan 350Z roadster offers the same performance and handling as the Z coupe but with the added fun of top-down driving. In other news, satellite radio (either XM or Sirius) is a new option this year for the Touring version of the coupe.
- Smooth and powerful V6 engine, excellent handling, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.
- Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

114th Car, One of the best - 2004 Nissan 350Z
By Alive2K - March 3 - 10:00 amIve had a lot of cars (114 to be exact) and owned just about everything but a BMW (Just hasnt interested me). Last sports car was a Lexus SC400. This beats it hands down for value and fun to drive. Ive liked a few cars more than this (most owned when I was a kid, like a 1968 Chevelle SS) but this is certainly in the top 5. I will likely break my record for time owned (currently at 14 months).

Issues of 2004 Roadster - 2004 Nissan 350Z
By Genevieve Poston - January 31 - 4:43 amI had been a 300Z owner for over 12 years and was excited when the first Roadster became available. I purchased one of the first ones on the market. I now have 22,000 miles on my Roadster, still not driving in rain or winter days. However, am now experiencing issues with the leather seats showing excessive wear and the blue convertible top is coming apart and gas lid not opening on 1st or 2nd try being issues with Nissan about repairing these items under warranty. Have been declined on repair of the leather seats but after 6 months of negotiating, possibly will get the top and gas lid repaired. Beginning to feel the thrill of the ride is not worth the hassle.

A beautiful ride - 2004 Nissan 350Z
By fastgrl - January 14 - 2:00 amA great bargain coupled with great looks and excellent performance. This is a great car if you want performance, but dont want to sacrifice a touring feel. Low end torque gives the car a punch as soon as you hit the gas. Plus, the resonant sound of the Z is beautiful! Definitely a head turner - be forwarned...if youve got good looks, the car only draws that much more attention. Dont be surprised if you gather a following! :)

Z Z Tops - 2004 Nissan 350Z
By Norman Hindley - December 15 - 12:30 amIm 60 years old and bought the Z for myself as a reward for living this long. Ive owned it for 8 months and during this period Ive enjoed it like no other auto Ive ever owned. The Z is pleasing to the eye, reliable, easy to drive (meaning Im not always shifting in traffic. The Z accelerates in 6th going up steep hills.), Gets about 23mpg,if driven in a sane manner, has plenty of guts under the hood, its exhaust note is pure Coltrane, the steering and the Zs ability to stick where its aimed is very reassuring as is the braking. Ive only broken rear- end loose once, and it was my error not the Zs. The car is forgiving. The trunk is plenty big enough for family shopping needs.

Black Touring - 2004 Nissan 350Z
By boz - December 2 - 2:00 amFrom the first turn of the key you will be hooked. This car is so smooth and has great linear acceleration, that it does not even feel like you are going fast. Even after being out for over a year, this car turns heads every place I go. Simply amazing.
