Nissan adds a roadster to the 350Z lineup. Available in Enthusiast and Touring variants, the 2004 Nissan 350Z roadster offers the same performance and handling as the Z coupe but with the added fun of top-down driving. In other news, satellite radio (either XM or Sirius) is a new option this year for the Touring version of the coupe.

• Smooth and powerful V6 engine, excellent handling, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.

• Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

  After pestering my local dealer for months for a Daytona Blue version of this car, he finally found one. Im glad he did. Its absolutely stunning in the sunlight. In addition, Ive become addicted to driving it (I hate to actually park it--Id rather keep driving it around!). The shifter, clutch, brakes, and steering are tight, precise, and give me absolute control. The car never hesitates to respond to my every whim.

  This car is great to drive. It handles very well, and has great pick up, not to mention the perfomrance specs put the Z in a league with cars like the Boxter, Boxter S, Carrera, Z3, Z4, and S2000. This car is not for the shy, because it is a real head turner. I havent gone a day yet without a second glance from other drivers.

  Fun to drive. Love the comfortable leather seats. Can do an all day drive and no fatigue in the back or legs. Handling in this car is superior. Will stop on a dime and give you nine cent change. Virtually no roll or pitch when manuevering around traffic.

  Read tons of reviews before deciding on the Z Touring Roadster......IT IS EVERYTHING others say and more. the Pick up is awesome, sound system rocks, handling is un matched and what a head turner in Red .. This car is for real all the way around.

  This is our "play car" and it has been fun to drive.Performance is outstanding- strong acceleration and smooth shifting. The body style has brought many compliments from people in parking lots. It is a FUN car.

  Great car, nothing like the older Turbo models though. Interior is nice, with sharp contemporary design. A bit difficult to get in and out of, dont buy one if you have a bad back.
