Nissan adds a roadster to the 350Z lineup. Available in Enthusiast and Touring variants, the 2004 Nissan 350Z roadster offers the same performance and handling as the Z coupe but with the added fun of top-down driving. In other news, satellite radio (either XM or Sirius) is a new option this year for the Touring version of the coupe.

• Smooth and powerful V6 engine, excellent handling, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.

• Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

  A great value - 2004 Nissan 350Z

  This is a very fun to car to drive! One of the best values out there. The only things that can beat it are the STi and mitsubishi evo, but then you have to deal with thier spoilers and tough ride quality. The car is very quick and makes a beautiful noise while your on the throttle inside and out. Handling is excellent and acceleration is quick right from the dealer. I paid 22,000 grand for mine used, 0-60 in 5.4, brembo brakes, great exhaust note, great looks and you got a deal of the year. Sure you can get a Mitsubishi evo or a Subaru STi for around the same price or a used one cheaper but then you deal with jarring suspension and huge spoilers and street racer looks. Z is a great deal.

  Between the people stopping me to ask about the car, the people that turn and look as I pass, just the attention the car generates is only the beginning. It is so much fun to drive. Ive never been happier with a car.

  Have a had the car for little over a month and it is crazy fast, comfortable (64") and rides just as well as my 2002 A4. Overall great car regardless of the price

  Im sold from the first day I started up my wifes new car. I love the sound of the exhaust, the styling, the sleek ride. No car compares for the price. Never been told by so many people how beautiful a car was. I love cruising through the mounts like a bullet.

  the most fun driving since high School. Like driving a high performance go cart. Performance is unbelievably smooth and quick. ease of control is only surpassed by the incredibly great look of the car

  I have owned a lot of cars and this is the first one that has had NO problems! I love its looks and performance too. The only annoyances are a clutch that engages abruptly and a front tire that is just now starting to make a roaring sound. Fit and finish is excellent.

  I have been driving "hot" sports cars for some time. My last two were a Toyota Supra (twin turbo) and a Corvette. I like this better from the "overall package" concept but do not feel it is as "quick off the line" as the other two. However that is a small item as it is not very often that I am put in a position where that feature is important. To sum up, I love the car!!

  I ordered this car back in Sept 02 I thought that it was going to be a gamble since I had never bought a car before without atleast test driving it. Any doubts that I had at that time have been laid to rest. My 350Z met and exceeded all my expectations. Fast and agile. It feels like its hardwired to my brain... I think of something and it does what I want it to do as fast as I can think of it. Its solid too. Ive pushed it hard, REALLY HARD for the past 8 months that Ive had it and its no worse than from the day I first drove it. I love my Z. Im sold for life on Nissans Z.

  ive only had the car a few weeks, but i just love it! it makes me happy just to drive it; who cares where to or if theres any traffic. the power and acceleration are great, and the car hugs curves so well it challenges me to keep trying faster and faster cornering. maybe the only downside will be the tickets i fear i might start collecting!
