  Best vehicle Ive ever owned! I traded in a Ford Escape. Ford will tell you its the same vehicle...I beg to differ! The styling is better, as is the ride. Much less road noise with the Tribute. Great dealership as well.

  Very roomy, great looking. Handles well on highway and in the city. Great vehicle for the money. This SUV drives more like a car. Smooth riding. Woule reccommend to anyone.

  I presently own a 2003 Tribute and I love it. The vehicle performs well in the snow. I live in New England and we get snow. Overall performance I would rate it a 98.5 % for fun & enjoyment of just riding.

  THE TRIBUTE IS AN EXCELLENT SUV. GREAT EXTERIOR DESIGN AND NICE LOOKING INTERIOR WHEN REQUESTED IN LEATHER. DRIVES LIKE A CAR. HOWEVER IT DOES GIVE THE LONG RANGE MILES PER GALLON. SO IT IS A GREAT AND FUN CAR FOR A SMALL FAMILY. GREAT INTERIOR SPACE FOR A SMAL SUV.

  Frustration with the Tribute - 2004 Mazda Tribute

  i have had this car for almost three years and have had numerous problems with it from the day we purchased it. It is the second Mazda I have owned, the first being a 626 and I am finding similar types of problems. I have had leaks from the body, have had to replace all four tires, the sun roof and electric seats do not work intermittently, the lastest problem - when the car is cold it sounds as if my power steering is not working. I have had the car in for countless services. It is frustrating as I enjoy the ride and the comfort of the car, but do not trust it.

  After test driving several different SUV, I drove and feel in love with the Mazda Tribute. Great handling makes it feel like your driving a car with the the perks of an SUV. You wont be sorry with a Tribute!!

  After reading Edmunds reviews, I was a little skeptical. Dont believe what the Web Site says! The main vehicle is co-built by Ford as the Escape. Ford builds most of their vehicles well, as does Mazda. The engine is NOT a rotary, therefore is very quiet. On gas mileage I am averaging between 21 and 28 MPG. My first trip was from the L.A. area to Barstow and I got over 27 MPG with the A/C on! If you want a roomy, fuel-efficient SUV, this is it!

  Nice "cute ute".Enough room inside,better looking outside than the Escape.It does need rear disc brakes and a limited slip would be nice.Too few dealer accessories available to customize. Minor customization only! Little add ons to make it "mine".
