  • Mazda beats out Volvo S60 - 2003 Mazda Mazda6

I test drove a mazda 3, Volvo S60 and the Mazda 6 (6-cyl)version. Volvo was surely a car with tons of creature comforts, but the Mazda kept up in performance, stability, and accessories as well as safety features. Poor turn radius--my mustang fares better, however, the engine power is actually more responsive than the S60 and the price truly speaks volumes for those not needing the Volvo label on the front and those ever so useless headlight wipers!

  • Best Car Ive Ever Owned - 2003 Mazda Mazda6

You simply cannot go wrong with the Mazda 6i. Its hands down the best car Ive ever owned. I get over 30 mpg combined and the 4 cyl 160 hp engine has plenty of pep. I purchased the car off lease with 33K miles and now am close to 100K and have had only minor mechanical issue. The drive belt tensioner has gone bad twice (makes a rattle at low idle, common problem), it cost me $60 and 30 minutes of my time to replace both times. The O2 sensor went bad and it cost me $80 and 30 minutes of my time to replace. Oil changes are a snap and if you put Yokohama tires on this car it rides like a dream. My only complaint is the turning radius, its horrible. I can live with that minor annoyance

  • After Three Years - Still the one! - 2003 Mazda Mazda6

After three years of ownership, the Mazda is still the outstanding car it was when I purchased it. It handles great, it continues to be the best looking car on the road, and it has been dependable in all conditions. At 40K, some minor annoyances were all repaired quickly and satisfactorily under warranty: the Bose subwoofer became "crackly", and the drivers seat bolster (leather) became "floppy". The car has begun to use a slight bit of oil (1/4th qt per 3K miles) but the gas mileage has improved since new. 24 mpg back and forth to work and 30 mpg on a recent interstate trip between Norfolk, VA and Charlottesville, VA and back. If I needed a new car, a Mazda 6 would again be my choice.

  • This car is the bomb.... - 2003 Mazda Mazda6

I totally fell in love with this car from the day that I first drove it as a rental car...ever since I had to have it..and I got it. the 6 cyl with everything. The handling rivals a BMW and easily matches the Accord in my books. This car isnt for the "typical driver", to enjoy this car you have to love to DRIVE

I bought my Mazda with 32000 miles on it and drove it everywhere. Havent had any issues, set of tires, brakes, and oil changes, very worry free car. I will probably buy another 6 or maybe a 3, but either way, Im sold on Mazdas brand all around.

This may be one of the best deals on the market, if not the best. The 6s handles like a dream. Its a sports car is a sedans body. The ergonomics of the interior are very pleasant. There is plenty of room in the back seats for adults. when you give this car some gas it definetly goes zoom zoom. Third gear in the 6 is orgasmic--this is when you truly feel the acceleration and power of this car. The 6s has a wonderfully smooth ride and so smooth that you fail to realize how fast youre going unless you look at the speedomoter. Highly recommend this car over the camry and accord. Its the best bang for your buck hands down!!!

  • Speedy Mazda 6s - 2003 Mazda Mazda6

I have had this car for 4 1/2 mo. and had to have the front axel replaced and the front disc brakes replaced due to noises and defective product. Post Falls Mazda took care of me while fixing my car though. It ended up making me like my car more because I had to drive a Mazda protege5 and the Mazda 6i and they do not even compare to the engine/handling of my 6s! Im glad to have it back. zoom zoom!!
