An AM/FM/CD stereo and a tilt steering wheel are now standard on all 2004 Jeep Wrangler models. A new aluminum wheel design is standard on Sahara models and optional on Sport models. Right-hand-drive versions are also available for fleet utility service. A Columbia Edition option package is also new for 2004.

  This is my second jeep wrangler, it is the best most capable off road vehicle I have ever owned(and I owned a lot). It is comfortable and reliable. The fuel economy isnt great for a jeep it is okay. The only downfall is the storage space, i had to add a safari rack to make up for lack of storage for camping. It is the best vehicle for someone who is going to use it for its intended purpose(going off road).

  I traded my 2002 wrangler for the new 2004 electric lime. Jeeps handle the best than any suv/4wd that I have driven and there have been alot. You have the security and fun of the 4wd and the drop top. I will own nothing but a Jeep Wrangler!

  Im a first time jeep buyer who will always own a jeep from now on. I moved from sunny Los Angeles to snowy Washington state shortly after buying my Rubicon last Fall, and Im sure glad I bought it. Minus 18 degree weather and 12 inches of snow were no problem...it just made for some fun driving!

  Remember what this vehicle was / and is designed for. Fuel economy (for a 4 X 4) is excellent. Well built and will last a long time. Anything you do not like about the original vehicle, can easily be changed with after market parts.

  Bought mine for $13,688 base model with no radio, no rear seat, and no AC. Added radio & seat aftermarket for 1/7th what the dealer wanted. Not much power as the car is not geared right with a 2.4L 4cyl, but really fun to drive and own.

  This is my fourth Jeep and the build quality is far better than my last three Jeeps. There were no factory defects at all. The engine is very powerful and smooth running. The ride is far smoother and quieter than I expected with those knobby tires (although not car-like). The 4-wheel- drive system is unstoppable. My only suggestions are; get the hard top as the soft top is very difficult to install / remove & note that the "gray" interior is really black (very hard to keep clean). I could not be more pleased with this Jeep.

  The only reasonable priced serious off road vehicle that can be used as is for both street and trails with out concern. It is built tough and reliable, you can get an auto transmission and airconditing with cruse control. But the basic jeep has real tough drive train that you can get factory airlockers front & rear with a heavy duty transfer case and full 7 year 70k mile warrentee for worry free off/on road uses.
