For the 2003 Jeep Liberty, a new overhead console, based on that of the Grand Cherokee, includes a unique interface that allows passengers to program the operation of nine convenience and safety items to their own preference. Liberty owners can now personalize several features, including which doors unlock with the first press of the remote keyless entry unlock button, the miles driven between service intervals and the amount of time the headlamps remain on when exiting the vehicle. Finally, an available six-disc in-dash CD player replaces the cargo area mounted unit. Standard four-wheel disc brakes endow the Jeep with improved brake feel on-road, decreased stopping distances and reduced brake fade. Available electrochromic interior and driver-side rearview mirrors help reduce headlight glare from traffic at night, and standard sliding sun visors have been added, which serve to keep the sun out of your eyes by providing added windshield and side glass coverage.

By RMICHELLEB - April 23 - 10:00 amI really love my Jeep and so does my 3 year old son, her name is Libby. We have driven a lot of highway miles and even though the gas mileage is only about 17 mpg, its a fun trip and we dont want to get out.

By California Girl - March 22 - 10:00 amMy Liberty Renegade 4x4 is kick-butt awesome!! When the Liberty first hit the market, I was in love with it and knew that it had to be my next vehicle. I set out to get a Liberty Sport 4x2 5-Speed (because it was more in my price range) but the dealer made me an offer that I couldnt refuse~I LOVE everything about this vehicle and I am so glad that I upgraded to the Renegade. It is fun to drive, its high up off the road, interior is spacious, it looks tough - it is just the best!!

While it exterior appears smaller than the Jeep Cherokee Sport, the Jeep Libertys interior is definitely more spacious (head/leg/shoulder room). Weve test drove a number of vehicles in this class, but the Jeep Liberty was hands down the best. Virtually everyday, we - receive compliments about the exterior design and how sharp the interior looks.

New owner - 2003 Jeep Liberty
By Wes O. - June 2 - 2:00 amI just picked up my Liberty Renegade yesterday. I absolutely love the vehicle. The leather seats are very comfortable and the interior controls are logically arranged. The seating area is every bit as large as my Ford Explorer Sport was. The exterior appearance is aggressive, without being overboard like the Avalanche. My only complaint was the difficulty in locating a Renegade with the options I wanted. I was unable to find one with antilock brakes in the Austin area and had to travel to San Antonio to find one. It was worth the drive. The 75 mile drive back to Austin was an absolute pleasure.
