  • Tons of Room! - 2003 Honda CR-V

I purchased my CR-V with about 22,000 miles on it and it now has nearly 55,000. It is a reliable vehicle and drives like a car. I feel very safe in it and it has room to spare. The CR-V gets decent gas mileage for an SUV, but it could be better. I commute about 50 miles per day, round trip, and road noise it a bit of a problem on the highway. Ive also been noticing an increasing number of rattles. Unlike many others, I have yet to have a problem with the air conditioning (knock on wood). Overall, I think the CR-V is a good compact SUV, but Im thinking of trading mine in for a smaller car since gas prices are so high and dont appear to be dropping anytime soon.

I just bought my crv a week ago. I love it. It handles extremely well, and is fun to drive. Everything is well thought out in the interior. I drove every mid and small size suv on the market, and the minute I drove the crv I knew it was the car I wanted. It has a reassuring solid feel to it, and high crash test scores ratings. The fuel economy is great, too.

My first mini-SUV and it feels like a real SUV. The 2003 re-model transformed the CRV from a homely mini-SUV into a pretty hot car--especially the dark blue EX with privacy glass and leather seating.

  • The Ride Inside Is Hella Bad - 2003 Honda CR-V

Got me a CRV EX model, cool ride and nice looking from inside and out. At first I was wondering about the 4cyl engine that won’t have enough horsepower like my old car V6. But after a month of driving it does have enough horsepower more than I expected. Why did Honda choose not to put on fog lights, front tire splash guards, roof rack and a bigger wheel for a high end model like other SUV in it class. Other then that this is an Excellent SUV for the price with good gas mileages. For all Honda owner, who interests of adding additional Honda OEM accessories go here cheaphondaparts.com I’m in the process of adding fog lights and front tire splashguard.

  • Overall a Good Vehicle - 2003 Honda CR-V

I have 100K miles and have had only a few annoying issues. The driver door cant be unlocked and the power outlet is dead, but overall, this has been a good vehicle. Feels sturdy and rides well. Cabin is noisy on the highway, but feels secure on a roadtrip. Biggest annoyance (other than not being able to get in on the drivers side!) is the small fuel tank. Good mileage, but since the tanks small, I live at the gas station.

Short, turning radius. Drives like car, but has the roominess of a larger vehicle. Quick acceleration.

  • A Lotta Bang For Your Buck - 2003 Honda CR-V

Before I bought this car, my main two concerns were price and reliability. Everything else would be icing on the cake. Shopping around, I realized that most the cute-utes were comparably priced depending on the model and options; so next up was the "outliving my watch" factor. All reviews, ratings, research, etc. lead to the CRV. I bought it without much worry and have been very pleased. Its not a 6-banger, but I live in Houston where hills are antbite-sized so the power from the i- Vtec remains steady and peppy. Its remarkably spacious and can hold five passengers even if not in complete comfort.

  • Just bought it! - 2003 Honda CR-V

I just bought my new 2003 CRV EX last Saturday. I traded a 98 Acura Integra and put some extra down. I had a great Sales person, but I mainly dealt with the numbers guy..They low balled me on my car, but I had researched on this site previously and was pretty confident. He tried to sell me the car for $26k which included a $1200 markup. I said no way.. Ended up 8k for my car, $22k (the asking price on the CRV) and put some down. Walked away feeling great about the deal. I love the spacious interior and the CD changer in dash. Lots of room and fun to drive.

  • A great value - 2003 Honda CR-V

The CR-V EX is the best value for your money. It comes loaded! Lots of room inside for a small size outside. Our labs love the roomy back seat! It handles very well but it rides a bit stiff and has a lot of road noise even though we replaced the tires with some top-quality Michelins. Gas mileage hasnt lived up to the sticker numbers, we get only 21mpg in mixed driving. Overall we like it a bunch.

  • My 1st SUV - Love It - 2003 Honda CR-V

After being in two accidents this year I decided to get a vehicle that was a little bigger and safer. I actually enjoy driving again. It handles well and I get great gas mileage, which was a concern. I have been averaging 31 mpg. I also love the space, I no longer have to borrow someones truck to get larger purchases home.
