Really like the vehicle. Mine was built in Japan and the quality (fit/finish) is exceptional. Really like the powerful eng. The interior layout/space is great too.

  • Not bad for its price - 2003 Honda CR-V

I purchased the CRV after a lot of research. It is the best buy for its price. I contacted the dealer fot the low fuel mileage - 19/23 and was told that it would improve in the summer as there would be no additives to the fuel. Lets see. Aslo I feel the engine is always at a high RPM. It should not be more than 2000 - 2500 RPM on the top gear.

  • Theres nothing negative to say - 2003 Honda CR-V

I love this car. Thats all I have to say. It runs like a champ. Its quiet, comfortable. Has great visibility and roominess inside. You wont feel claustrophobic in this car. Has plenty of room for backseat riders as well. Ive only owned mine for 16 mo. but I love it and I dont think I would ever own another vehicle. The cargo area is nice and roomy and yet the crv manages to be a small suv with great manueverability. I just love this car. The cup holder in front of the control dials can be annoying if you have a really large cup, but if thats the biggest complaint, thats more than you can say about most! :) BUY ONE! Youll love it!

  • Even better months later - 2003 Honda CR-V

I was very surprised at the test drive, the car has zip. After 6000 miles I notice that the engines purrs like a quick cat, and has even more guts. For small SUV under $25,000 (in 2002) no one else came close. Can carry 4 six foot guys easy. My average gas mileage is around 18. Only complaints are I wish I had another 2" of leg room and that the seats had larger seat bolsters to support the legs... then again I am 6 3".

  • Gits R Done - 2003 Honda CR-V

What Ive enjoyed most has been this vehicles "gameness." Last winter we had 3 separate storms of over 1 of snow apiece. Husbands pickup got stuck, but my CR-V just chugged on through. Short wheelbase means it will turn on a dime. Not sure about the rear differential. Im starting to hear weird noises at 66K miles. Still, Id buy it again, although I think Id go with a RAV-4 now rather than the redesigned CR-V. The new Honda is smaller, and doesnt have the table.

  • No more Hondas - 2003 Honda CR-V

I have owned Hondas for over 20 years, but the CRV makes me think I will never own another. 4 years and 66,000 miles the air compressor blows apart. dealership wants $1,500 to replace it. Too much money for too little of a car. I just got a new Honda eliment, if this happen sooner I would never have gotten another Honda. I will be trading this in on a Saturn Vue.

  • Would buy again - 2003 Honda CR-V

After much research and many test drives it came down to the RAV-4 and the CRV. The Honda dealership was much more attentive to our needs. That factor plus the long term reliability of our 4 Honda Civics tilted the deck to the CRV.

  • Best Value SUV - 2003 Honda CR-V

Smooth, high-revving engine that gets most jobs in most situations done-and done well. More spacious than the Accord wagon I had back in college and looks better too. I get about 22 mpg which is more than I expected. All in all, I love the thing.

  • Great For What It Was Built To Do! - 2003 Honda CR-V
    By -

This vehicle is perfect for what it was built to do. It drives like a car, handles well in mud, (I drove it in deep mud during a rain storm without any problems at all, except it took for ever to get the mud off!) snow and rain. Fits everything I want to put into it, including bikes, a baby, dog and plenty of stuff. I have a long drive to work and I never feel like I hate the drive. My only complaint is with the design of the roof rack, but that is an extra item.
