  • Great, solid car - 2003 Honda CR-V

We really enjoyed our CR-V. At the time we bought it had the most rear leg and cargo room of other compact SUVs. The resale value, reliability and gas mileage sold us on the vehicle. Even after 4 years I still got 28 mpg highway. I loved it in the snow and never had any problems. The only draw back was comfort on long trips for my husband (steering wheel not telescopic and too far away vs needed leg room) and some blind spots typical of SUVs. I liked the hidden storage but see they changed it with the 07 model. It has been extremely reliable and was only in the shop once for A/C repair which was covered under warranty. I will miss my CR-V but decided to go with the larger Pilot.

  • A great small SUV - 2003 Honda CR-V

This is one of the nicest, affordable vehicles I have every owned. Much better than the American-made trash Ive driven before.

  • I love my Honda - 2003 Honda CR-V

This car is comfortable but yet not to big I have a 3 year old and it has great space. The ride is comfortable and I like the realtime AWD I dont have to worry about turning it on and off.

  • Versatile, reliable car - 2003 Honda CR-V

Ive had this car for almost four years now and after 40,000 miles have had no major issues or problems with it. Its very reliable, fun to drive, handles nicely (has an incredible turning radius!). Peppy enough, although nothing special. Has been a good car for highway driving back and forth between school and also a safe car to take up skiing with plenty of room for a few people and their gear. I have been a little disappointed with the mileage though only getting 20-21 in town and at best 26 on the highway.

  • Good car for first child - 2003 Honda CR-V

We bought our CRV in expectation of our first child, trading in my wifes sporty little car which just wasnt practical enough. We didnt want to get a mini-van -- just too soccer-mom for us at this stage -- and the CRV is a great alternative.

  • Disappointed CRV owner - 2003 Honda CR-V

Disappointed with the mileage of my CRV. Sticker say 22-26. For the past 3.5 years I avg around 22-23 for all driving. A couple of times near 20. Highest has been 24.5 for a highway trip.

  • The Little Engine That Could - 2003 Honda CR-V
    By -

Its rather amazing...the power that Honda gets from its six cylinder CRV engine. Ive been a Honda fan for decades, but this cross-over SUV is one of the finest cars I think they have ever made. As expected, it runs flawlessly, but what amazed me was when I put in four passengers and ran it through the mountains of western NC. Its had the power needed to zip us along at 65MPH...VERY comfortably, so much so that my passengers commented on how much bang that 4 cylinder engine actually has. Power to spare. I love the vehicle...but have no use for the dealership..so I get the car serviced elsewhere. Theres nothing about this car that isnt quality. JRT

  • Internet Sales Are the WAY! - 2003 Honda CR-V

Great car, but difficult to buy, until we found the internet department of the place we went... got in and out within 2 days... we did not haggle at all... and were given a great price.... Anyhow... great car for those looking for the best all-around mini-ute... handles great... engine smooth... ride is firm, but not jarring... Best value for the money in sport-utes though!

  • Who could ask for anything more? - 2003 Honda CR-V
    By -

First off, I dont off road so I dont need a rugged SUV. I needed something my wife could be comfortable with and get around in bad weather. As the title says, who could ask for anything more. It has a good price for all you get. We compared it to an X-terra, (my wifes favorite at the time) and there was no comparison. When we sat down and compared, the Honda won hands down. Now she it glad she got the Honda!
