  • Love this car! - 2010 Ford Fusion

I love this car. I wanted an Escape, but test drove this because it was the color I wanted and immediately fell in love with it. It handles well in the curves, is a smooth, quiet ride, has a great sound system, and a very roomy interior without being a huge car. The Sync technology is great too. Gas mileage on the highway is awesome as well and for a 4-cylinder, I was impressed by its power. The only thing I dont like is that it has hubcaps instead of rims, but even the hubcaps are stylish.

  • 10,000 Mile Review - 2010 Ford Fusion

I have now owned my Fusion a year and a few months and I passed the 10,000 mile mark. Not one reliability issue to talk about. Still solid no rattles or issues. Over 10,000 miles and my meticulous records I have averaged 23.6 mpg and that is mixed driving (MOSTLY city). Quirk 1, I cant find a comfortable place to rest my left arm. The chair is back so far if I go to place my arm on the door arm rest I bump the B pillar. (Im 6 ft 1"). Quirk 2, sometimes you have to reselect Ipod as the Sync chooses the phone bluetooth over the usb. Overall very comfortable and quiet ride, handles good and has solid feel. Again Ford out did the competition! I would absolutely buy again, A+ Ford!

My second Ford car ever. Went to look at a an Edge for the wife and ended up buying a Fusion for me. Love the styling of this car, both inside and out. Stereo is nice and tight and this is a very quiet ride so you can really enjoy the tunes without having to blast them. Would definitely recommend this ride to anyone. Really nice job all around Ford .

  • Unexpected Find! - 2010 Ford Fusion

I will base my review in comparison to my last vehicle, a fully loaded 2007 Infinity G35X.My Fusion an SEL fully loaded. Some may think this is an unfair comparison but continue to read. Handling, not as good as previous vehicle, especially in corners, but surprisingly good. The Fusion is actually a lot more quiet inside with hardly any road noise. Stereo systems are comparable, both great. Gas mileage, well my Infiniti was great if I got 21 mpg. My fusion, beats what the sticker reports. I average 25+mpg and is getting better as I pass 4,000 miles. Im 6 ft and have plenty of room and the rear seats hold two child seats comfortably. Interior hands down beats Toyota, Honda, and Nissan. So far great buy

  • Too many problems for new car - 2010 Ford Fusion

We have had our Ford Fusion for year and have had it towed twice. First time, engine wouldnt turn over second time, engine turned, but immediately stalled and couldnt continue. Both covered under warranty, but when you are used to trouble-free Camrys, tough to swallow. Also, dealer sold us new car with repaired tire that eventually went flat and necessitated purchasing a brand new tire. We are awaiting a replacement check.

  • Impressive Midsized Sedan - 2010 Ford Fusion

After 2,500 miles I still love to get behind the wheel. It handles beautifully and my mileage with the 4 cylinder, six speed manual is far better than what the EPA estimated. Im getting 36 MPG on the highway and over 30 MPG combined. The 2.5 liter motor has plenty of guts and is surprisingly quiet - I cant even hear it at idle. The seats are very comfortable on long drives and the trunk is quite roomy. This car also feels and sounds like its very tightly put together, with no squeaks or rattles that I can detect. Overall, its a top-notch car. Ford has a winner.

  • Impressive fuel economy - 2010 Ford Fusion

I bought the S with automatic due to dealer promotion. In test drive, it drove better than 2011 Sonata and costs a lot less. Just had 1500 km on it, seems a fuel sipper on the highway. I got 6 L/100 km highway (~40 MPG I believe, I am in Canada so we use metric), about 10-11 local. Driving is very smooth, hardly any engine or wind noise, although the road noise can be noticeable at highway speed. Only time will tell the reliability.

  • Older folks should buy this car - 2010 Ford Fusion

We now have just over 2,100 miles on our 2010 Fusion SEL. We took advantage of a cash reduction offered to Camry owners who traded, and paid about $24,000 for a 4-cylinder model with navigation, moon-roof, electric seats, leather seating, rear camera, side sensors, blind spot sensor, and Sirius radio (plus other gadgets). In addition, we received $1,400 MORE in trade-in for our 1998 Camry than the Toyota dealer had offered several months earlier on a $29,000 Prius. The car is well-appointed and the seat/steering wheel adjustments are infinite. There’s no problem in finding a comfortable driving position, or in changing it on longer drives.

Purchased the base S auto model for under $17k and must say nothing comes close to it for style, performance, engine/tranny, build quality and MPG. Add that you are also supporting an American manufacturer that didnt take a bailout money is icing on the cake. I have 09 malibu and a 10 honda accord and have driven the Camry/Altima several times so I have compared them extensively.

  • Absolutely BLOWN AWAY! - 2010 Ford Fusion

Honestly this Fusion may drive as good as out $53,000 BWW 5 Series nightmare (disastrous out of warranty service headaches). The seats and highway steer track are unbeatable!
