  • King of the Road! - 2010 Ford Fusion

Ford has a winner. This is a well built car. Fit and finish are excellent. No wind/road noise. Great ride. Comfortable. 3.0 V6 has plenty of power. Transmission is smooth. Safety features front to back! Please give the Fusion a test drive before you buy. Im glad I did. I replaced a 07 honda with my 2010 Fusion.

Bought the Fusion Sport to replace an 09 Jetta with a manual transmission due to traffic in the DC area. Price with rebates is very attractive. Fit and finish seem good but it is too soon to really tell. V-6 provides smooth acceleration and 6 speed automatic is a joy to drive. Car is sportier than the Camry; costs less than a similar Accord and handles better. A solid choice for a person who needs a family sedan but wants something that is sporty but doesnt require premium unleaded.

  • Watch out - 2010 Ford Fusion

Ive had my Ford Fusion for 9 months and I now have a recall on the solenoid. Soon after the notice I began to have severe problems with the transmission. I took it in and now the entire transmission has to be replaced. Im not pleased that a new car has major transmission problems. I bought it based on a review from edmunds so I hope others read my review. Perhaps its a fluke but now Ive had a smokey rental car for a week which I had to ask for rather than have it offered. Now Im wondering if should have bought a Honda like last time.

Always Japanese or European.Beats Camry and Accord. Tried 2011 Sonata, still went back to Fusion. 500 miles on car so have a lot to learn but so far was a great choice. Hope this continues.

  • Fun & Reliable car that looks great! - 2010 Ford Fusion

I have had my fusion for 3 years. It has been super reliable. It is fun to drive and fast also. I have gotten a lot of compliments on the look of the car as well. The only thing I have had to replace is the battery. Besides that I change the oil and just put a new set of tires on it. Great car if you take care of it. To address a majority of the negative reviews, if you dont change the fluids at regular intervals and dog the crap out of it, of course its going to break down, just like any other car would. Thanks.

  • Too soon to tell, but so far so good - 2010 Ford Fusion

Purchased this car in the nick of time for my trip tp Stowe, VT. The trunk was adequate for myself and my fiance and her penchant for bringing the kitchen sink. The car is attractive and sporty, yet it has a very European feel and appearance. The engine is responsive and quick. The interior is comforatable and stylish, but some of the weather stripping and trim bezels could be better-attached. Minor issues at worst. The SYNC system is great, but the voice which assists could benefit from some lessons in listening as she is often enough wrong. Also, there is too much instruction offered by the voice. Overall, the car has handled the Vermont mountains well with no issues.

  • Best car Ive ever owned - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

For years I leased Honda Accords. I loved the cars but outside noise was a problem. After suffering through buying several used cars I landed with my Red 2010 Fusion Sport. This by far is the best car I have ever owned. And Ive had 15 cars and trucks since my first one and Im 42 now. The comfort and sportability of this car is awesome. I nick named my car the "Red Rocket". It has bells and whistles that you wouldnt expect on a Ford or for a mid-sized car. It is extremely comfortable on long drives and gets halfway decent gas mileage on the highway. I would recommend this car to anyone, but get the Sport, you wont regret it.

  • A great surprise - 2010 Ford Fusion

After 6 months and 12k miles, here are some of my thoughts. Performance is great. Corners well and has impressive acceleration even with half-throttle. Fuel economy has been the biggest surprise - Ford definitely underpromised and overachieved in that category (rated 18/27; I can get about 22/30). Inside, theres very little wind noise, but the stock tires are pretty stiff so road noise can be a nuisance. I like the seats, but some people may find them a bit firm. Even with lots of driving Ive had no issues with reliability - everything just seems to work as it should. I wish I had more room for a detailed review, but heres the main point: I am very glad I decided to buy this car.

  • Way to go Ford - Your Back! - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

After owning Honda and Toyota for the past 10 years or so, I decided to give Ford another try. I am very pleased with my choice! Sportier than the Camry and Accord with the bells and whistles I remember from the American companies. I still cant believe that a $30K Accord doesnt have any interior lights in it!!! Quiet and Comfy! Performance is great with the 3.5L V6. Ford didnt take the govt money - because they dont need to. Excellent products sell!!! Way to go Ford!!!

  • The FUN Mid-Size Sedan! - 2010 Ford Fusion

I test drove a dozen different cars before settling on the Fusion Sport. I never dreamed Id buy a Ford when I started my search. I chose the Fusion Sport over a used Acura TL, used BMW 3 series, and new Mazda6. Why? Heres a car thatll do 0 - 60 in under 6.5 secs, handles turns like a BMW, has a very good Sony audio system, truly quiet interior, Microsoft Sync, and you can get it absolutely loaded with hi tech gear. If youre in the market for a sports sedan and think you need to buy a Audi, BMW, Acura, Infiniti, or Lexus to get one, just try the Fusion Sport. Dont let the Acura dealers sell you on that superior reliability bull. The Fusion is more car for the money.
