  My goodness this car is super. We are also leaving Honda, and extremely happy with the Quality of this Fusion. The ride has to rival Germans selling at $40,000 more. Cant freaking believe FORD developed this machine for $21,000!!!!

  Test-drove several brands but chose Fusion as best of breed, excellent buy for price. Good power altho gearing is too widely spaced. Accelerator and brakes are sensitive & take some getting used to, to avoid jerky starts/stops. Very quiet ride, some tire noise on certain surfaces.

  We checked several other possibilities, but kept coming back to the Fusion. We have found that it is very comfortable, it handles well and amongst other things the 2.5 engine has more than adequate power both around town and on the road. It is also a fun car to drive. For us it was an excellent choice!

  Disapointed with Ford transmission again - 2010 Ford Fusion

  The ride is firm but comfortable,steering is taut without being overly so, vehicle corners well and the interior is a class act, but unfortunately all this is marred by a transmisson that takes all the joy out of the driving experience. I purchased a demo w/16000 miles on odo. Clearly I didnt take the vehicle for a long enough test drive. When going down hill or coasting to a stop when speed drops to about 40 the transmission down shifts & slows the vehicle so quickly you end up having to give it more gas. This vehicle is supposed to have a CVT transmission which is supposed to shift smoothly. Well apparently no one at Ford got that memo. This is my third and last Ford.

  Moved from a MKZ to a Fusion Sport because we feel we got a better car with more features for less money. That said, we never had any problems with the MKZ. We were about 5 miles from the dealership on the day we took delivery when we noticed a "burning rubber" smell in the cabin. Thought it would go away, but it did not. Took it back to the dealer at about 200 miles and they smelled it but couldnt find anything. They said to drive it and the smell would go away. 1200 miles later it still smells, its back at the dealers and they think its our imagination. Not what I expect from the "Car of the Year".

  The 2008 RAV4 gave its life for us in a rear end accident. Had to go looking for cars. Rented a 09 Fusion and couldnt believe the quality, and bought a 2010 Fusion. Every time I get in I really cant believe its a Ford! I am a car nut and really picky on drive ability, quality, fit and finish. This Fusion has it all. The 4 cylinder (SEL) has all the latest technology and it shows. The starting circuit is cool, just touch the key into the start position and release, the car automatically cranks until it starts (I bet you didnt know that!). Sony XM/Sirus radio, great seats, and good driving position.

  I have been driving different cars for a few years now such as a Scion tC, Ford Escape, Toyota Corolla, and Mitsubishi Eclipse, but none compare to the Fusion except for the Corolla. I bought this as my first car and I absolutely love it! I feel protected and safe in this car, it gets excellent gas mileage, and the comfort as well as performance are outstanding. Im very satisfied with this car and I almost wish to be in traffic just so I have a reason to be in my car. It feels and looks more like a luxury sedan rather than a Ford, but thats all the more reason why I love it.

  Swore off buying new cars and went 20 years between them. Ford Fusion had the right combination of options and quality! Those added to the unbeatable price pushed me over the edge. I like the interior, exterior and the gas mileage is great. Super quiet and smooth ride. Ford nailed it with the 2010 Fusion.

  This was the first new car I have ever owned. I drove this thing off the lot with only 22 miles on it! Handles like a dream, acceleration is great, and the interior is comparable to a high-end luxury car. The only gripe I have about this car is the fuel economy. I do a substantial amount of city driving and I find my fuel economy dipping into the 15s at times, but the highway mpg is excellent (roughly 29mpg). All in all, a great car, and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

  I have owned several Lincolns,two Jaguars and numerous Ford products over the years and the 2010 Sport is probably the best put together most fun to drive vehicle Ive owned in years. Not to mention the best in fuel economy. Build quality is a 10! I compare a new vehicle to something I have owned in the past and this beats out my 2006 JaguarS-Type for the ride,fun to drive and gas Mileage. Huge rear leg room and ample trunk. I cant say enough about the 2010 Fusion Sport.
