  • Have you driven a Ford lately? - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

I have never owned or driven a Ford product. I was always a GM person. Due to the fact that Ford was the only company (of the big 3), not to take Government bailouts, led me to test drive a Ford. Would I ever buy another one? Definitely!!! I purchased my new Fusion SE and love every minute of driving it. The vehicle is very well built and rides like a dream. It meets or exceeds my expectations, as compared to all other vehicles, in its class. The 6 speed manual transmission shifts as smooth as a hot knife going through butter. Its stylist and responsive. Ford has done their homework and impressed me, to no end. Take one for a drive and see for yourself. Its a great value.

  • Fusion I4 - 2010 Ford Fusion

This car replaced a Dodge Charger SXT 3.5. I read many of these reviews about the great I4 performance and see a few really have the V6. The performance is not good at all, with many up and down shifts during a typical Chicago rush hour commute trying to keep up. With just a choice of D or OD, you cant even help it along. The fronts seats are also pretty hard and even though multi-adjustable, I cant get a good position. The build quality is very good and wish I had the choice of getting the more powerful motor (company provided car). So far, I am not even getting great gas mileage at around 25 mpg for the 1st 2k miles. I have a 3.2 Audi that bests that by 4 mpg & S550 that matches it.

  • American Convert - 2010 Ford Fusion

I never thought Ford or any American Auto Maker would be on par with a European or Japanese Maker. I got the spirited 3.5L sport engine to the detriment of fuel efficiency. I do not regret it, the car is fun to drive and rock solid. The fit and finish inside and out is very good. The center console is button happy, plastic surfaces look good except for the glove box. Do not care much for the tiptronic transmission. Sync system geared towards native English speakers. I have to anglicize too many Spanish names when searching. The outside is muscular, at times the cars seems to begs for speed. A bit much chrome on the front grill. Good suspension. It takes road abrasions with aplomb.

  • Border line luxury car that gets MPGS - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

I can whole heartedly say that I’m proud to own this Ford. It blows the competition away in its driving dynamics, mpg, value and luxury. I tend to pick everything apart and I can say after driving this car for over a month it’s practically flawless. I’m amazed at how well this vehicle is put together. It’s solid no chatters creaks or rattles anywhere. Its road manners are unbelievable. It’s incredibly smooth, quiet and remains settled over the north east roads I drive. Around town it’s nimble with precise and tight steering. On the back roads it handles the curves extremely well. On the highway it’s planted smooth and super quiet. The 4cyl lacks nothing mated to the 6spd auto. A+++ Ford!

  • Best ford car yet - 2010 Ford Fusion

A very fine inexpensive car, well built, excellent handling and fun to drive. Engine is smooth and powerful, wish it got better mpg, oh well. Sync is fantastic, luxury cars should consider adopting the system. Steering wheel controls are very handy, particularly the volume control, my hands never leave the steering wheel -- safe and secure. Heated seats are a must now as well, climate control works perfectly.

  • Totally redesigned for 2010 - 2010 Ford Fusion

Fantastic car! Nothing like youve known about the Fords before. So the TV ads are correct. Built on a Mazda chassis, this beast has a woomph and adds some fun to the driving experience. The looks are great inside out and the seats are very supporting, almost like sporty ones. The dash buttons layout is very intuitive. Loved it so much! The instrument panel is the best in its class -- really easy to read and day and night. Numbers are big, the ambient blueish light is on 24/7 and makes the instrument reading a breeze. Driving is fun, the road feel is great. The car takes turns easily with no under or oversteering, the bumps are damped pretty well for the car of this price, steering easy.

  • Great sedan - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

This is my first car in a long time. I have had trucks for the last 8 years and I was not too excited about getting a sedan. Drivng this car made me forget all about wanting another truck. The fit and finish on this car is first class. Everything is tight and pleasing to the eye. The V6 with the 6sp auto has great performance and has a suprising amount of pep at highway speeds when you need to pass someone. I am very impressed with this product from Ford. Is as good or better than any other mid-sized sedan I have been in. A real good example of how good Ford can do.

  • Ford matches the imports and then some - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

Bought the sport after internet research and test drive. The ride is smooth and tight, with a leather interior second to none. Excellent acceleration and braking. The fit and finish is better than the Accord and Malibu which we compared it to. So far we have been averaging 31mpg on the highway and 22.8 in the city(with air on)6sp auto a plus. Backseat room is excellent and instrument cluster sweet.Ths sport is comfortable, spacious and definetly a great ride over the accord and chevy.Sync system puts you cell and i pod at your fingertips with no interference in driving attention. Dual zone air is excellent.

  • handsome, fun and a good value - 2010 Ford Fusion

Got the 2009 Fusion S manual for about two weeks and have put 1000+ miles of conservative higway driving, averaging 40+ mpg. Its a blast to drive, handles very well and doesnt feel underequipped power wise. It is also very quiet. The build quality & reliability is (so far) great, the only imperfections noticed is a glove compartment thats a tad stiff to open/close as well as the air conditioning which smells bad for the first few seconds. I also personally dont care for the cyan back lit dash. The rear window offers a somewhat poor view. Seats are good and roomy both front and back. Stock stereo surprisingly good, but doesnt accept mp3 dvd. paid 17k OTD and I consider it a super value!

  • Whats not to love? - 2010 Ford Fusion
    By -

What a well built vehicle. The handling is superb and it is about time a car manufacturer designed a sporty looking sedan. I love the color (sport blue) and the interior is modern and roomy. The Sun and Tunes package is awesome. The Sync feature works flawlessly. I was looking at an Audi A4 (great car too but a very expesive Jetta) and I am glad I went in this direction. Go BLUE OVAL!!!!
