Rough Idle - 2004 Ford F-150
By RoughStuff - October 17 - 10:00 amThe engine (5.4L) idles rough when stopped at lights/stops signs. Occasionally tries to stall when starting from a dead stop. Dealer unable to solve. Very nice truck but I am considering unloading it at a loss because this is so frustrating.

By Dave - September 9 - 4:20 pmThis is a great vehicle. I drove some 2002-2003 Corvettes looking for a good performance vehicle. This SVT is as good a performer as the Corvette in a straight line unless you get the ZO6 option. This has been a pleasure to drive and have had a ton of good feed back on the truck.

By FO - September 9 - 2:00 amI dont have as much money to spend on vehicles as a lot of the folks I see writing reviews out there. I opted for the XL 4x4 and added towing package and cruise. I dont live in my truck and dont need fancy radios and all the creature comforts. I do need a truck I can drie to work and hunt and fish out of and not need to worry about getting stuck or getting it wet and dirty (vinyl floor is ideal). With that, I got F-150 attitude, quiet ride, easy to engage 4x4, towing capacity. My father owns a loaded 2004 Chevrolet C1500 4x4. I drove it and thought I wanted one. Then, I drove the Ford. Hands down, the tightest ride in the fleet!

Issues but cool - 2004 Ford F-150
By green falcon - September 9 - 2:00 amNice pickup but milage is worse than my 2001 F-150. Been to the dealership twice, both times unit would not start and went into engine failure mode, at this time Ford has no fix for this issue.

I Love My Truck - 2004 Ford F-150
By TJTrails - September 2 - 9:26 pmI wasnt sure what I wanted when I went looking for a new vehicle, I only knew it had to have enough room for three adult sized people to sit in comfort in the back seat and I really didnt want to settle for another minivan. The Ford SuperCrew cab was better then all the other trucks I looked at for back seat comfort. I got a great deal. It hauls my teenagers and all their related junk. With 4WD I never have to worry about getting stuck. Its comfortable on long journeys and it looks good too. Ive had my truck 8 months and I still smile every time I see it. I love my truck!

By Jcghill - August 29 - 10:00 amBeautiful truck!!! Rides very smooth almost like a sedan. Upgraded from 1998 F150 Supercab and there is no comparison on the interior design. Very roomy and comfortable back seat. Our two year old now has plenty of room in the backseat and Im not being kicked all the time.The leather seats are also much softer than in previous model. I would definately buy this vehicle again.

Disappointed - 2004 Ford F-150
By MIkey - August 29 - 10:00 amI compared the Toyota Tundra and the F150 and decided to buy American again. (I have been buying Toyota and Honda cars. My son bought the Tundra). But with pulsating brakes, 12- 13 mpg on the highway,and an uncomfortable seat, the 150 has disappointed me.

Ive driven them all because thats what I do for a living; nothing compares to what this machine does for you. Many onlookers and challengers everyday and with that alone, Im glad I got my truck!
