By goose106 - December 3 - 2:00 amThe new 2004 Ford F150 FX4 Supercab is a superior truck. The ride is very smooth for a 4X4 and the cab is very quiet. I test drove other trucks and none could compare. The truck handles very well with the new steering and chasis changes. This truck actually rides better than probably 50% or more of the automobiles on the road today. There is adaquate power from the 5.4 V8.

Must have been on a Monday - 2004 Ford F-150
By Donna - November 22 - 12:44 pmI have driven Ford vehicles for the 20 years. I like the style, ergonomics, ride, dependibility of each Ford product I have owned. However, my F-150 Lariat Super Cab, 2wd,5.4liter V8 has been and still continues to be a lemon. From the very beginning it has had a bad viberation. I have had 5 sets of tires, three drive shafts, 2 rear pioion gears, trans.rebuilt new trans., 2,radio /6 cd changers, speaker problems, auto rear sildiging window. These were all while it was still warranty. Ford engineers even came from somewhere out of state to try to find the promblem. They cant find out what is wrong. Ford really let me down. Im not aginst Ford prod. this one just not right from the start.

By chock and kk - November 22 - 10:00 amI just bought this truck.The 500 miles I put on this vehicle have been on pavement and dirt,the truck runs perfectly and the ride even on dirt roads is a breeze.Ilove it.Also fit and finish were very good,the only draw back is when backing up for a short person like my self its hard to see behind the truck so be careful and buy the back up warning device

Quality is an Issue - 2004 Ford F-150
By FormerFordLover - November 7 - 7:28 amI bought this truck new and get lots of compliments on its looks. Almost 4 years and 37,000 miles, but plenty of issues. After having water leaking around the top of my rear window, and almost having it replaced, the guy who was working on it said, "I used to work at a Ford Dealer, and it isnt the window, it is the cargo lamp gasket". I then called a dealer to find out that you cant buy a gasket, only the complete unit for $54. I also have a problem with the outside mirror remote not working. Turns out the fuse box has a break in it somewhere and needs to be replaced, another $278 for the part. A few months ago, the drivers side window stopped working..$450 more.
