Overview & Reviews
The supercharged Impala SS joins the lineup for 2004. Besides offering 240 horsepower, the SS features a tightened suspension to allow it to take corners with a bit more gusto. Base and LS models have redesigned bench and bucket seats, and a sport appearance package is now available on the base sedan.
- Six-passenger seating availability, good crash test scores, torquey V6 engines.
- Vague steering, soggy suspension on base and LS models, low-buck interior.

Chevrolet Impala is an exellent car. - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By FJackie21 - May 4 - 2:00 amWe already have a 2001 Impala and love it. Our daughter took that car and my wife loved the 2001 so much we bought a 2004. It runs and rides great. Its very comfortable and has plenty of power. We havent had any problems out of our 2001. Its been very reliable. The 2004 seems to be on the same track. Great car!

By Vetdoc - April 23 - 10:00 amI ordered the Chevy Impala as my company car at work. I have always been a fan of GM cars. My Impala is safe, comfortable, big and roomy with great visibility and beautiful. White exterior with grey inside. ABS

Just try it... - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By Liam01 - April 17 - 10:00 amdont judge for this car before driving, driving is smooth and powerful, you feel great behind the wheel. i had a nissan altima 2002 and a toyota camry before that, they are not comparable with this car, after hours of driving you still want to go more and more! you never tired when you drive this car. i have my 2003 impala for 2 years and everything still works fine and even better than before! all i know is i dont want to depreciate myself with driving a japanese car anymore.

2004 Impala - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By Duclz - March 31 - 10:15 amHave had very few break downs, only problem have been the brakes but it is not that much of a problem. Also it gets pretty good gas mileage for a 4dr Sudan. Though I found the default radio deck controls kind of confusing at first, as I am use to simpler buttons, but there not that hard to understand.

great car - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By grafton - March 29 - 10:00 amI like the car, I was not happy that at only a year old (it is a 2002, and it had 42 thousand miles on it already. It runs great. It tells you when you need an oil change, washer fluid, all that. It runs great and very quiet!

Cynthiana - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By cynthiana - March 16 - 1:17 pmTraded in an Oldsmobile Sillouette. Did see a particular need for a van & also the discontinuance of Olds. Always have been a family car person. Bought the Impala here in PA (Monesson). Been completely satisfied. Only long tripwas to Columbus, GA & back to Pgh area PA. Great gas mileage. Once on the open hiway, I set cruise control on 61 or 62. I do not fight traffic.

rockheadds ride - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By ken ward - March 11 - 10:00 amWeve onwed an Impala for 2 yrs and have 32k on it. we love the car and has been defect free. We enjoy the way it drives and rides and does not feel mushy at all, Contrary to your opinion, 3.8 delivers good power and mpg 24.5. everyone who rides in this car loves it and considers making it thier next car. A great car and you need to get over your prejudice of GM cars. The amount of space y ou give for a review is not large enought to express the praises of this auto
