Toyota has hooked me good - 1994 Toyota 4Runner
By Mudslinger - October 2 - 10:00 amI have owned (2) Toyota 4 wheel drice pick up trucks. The 1st was a 1987. I put 257000 miles on it and finally had to sell it because the body was falling apart. I couldnt kill the drive train with dynamite. Obviously I bought another one, a 1993...I put 119000 on it, and traded it in on my 4-runner.It had 73,000 when I bought it in 1999, and it has 135000 now.I will always own a Toyota. All I have done is the preventive maintenence, and put gas in it. I go camping all the time, and do lots of outdoor related entertainment.I love what you do for me...yea..TOYOTA

Will hate to see him go - 1994 Toyota 4Runner
By jad4runner - June 25 - 10:00 amI bought my beatiful 4runner brandt new back in 1994. It was love at first sight and I am still in love with it. I had only the repairs that you can espect with a mileage like this. I am in the market now for a new 2004 and I am trying to decide if I should keep it or sell it. Like somebody else said it,the style of this truck has nothing to envy from the new ones. This a real SUV. I LOVE IT!, BUT ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END.Goodby my love.

What a Truck - 1994 Toyota 4Runner
By Johnny Whoha - May 13 - 10:00 amI have towed a 3500 lb camper for the last 4 years with no problems or even concerns. The vehicle is underpowered but with exhaust and intake modifications I have made it more than acceptable. This vehicle has had not 1 issue other than replacing a rear window motor. My biggest expense has been tires, I am more than impressed.

Great 4 All Seasons - 1994 Toyota 4Runner
By shash - November 14 - 2:00 amCant say enough good about this vehicle! It lasts... and lasts! 147000mi before needing a brake job. NO other major repairs needed yet. Takes me camping in the summer and skiing in the winter, and all places in-between. When its time for another vehicle I dont have to do any looking. Itll be another 4Runner!

Oh What A Feeling - 1994 Toyota 4Runner
By stu4runner - July 29 - 8:23 amI really enjoy my truck. Its just now staring to show its age, mostly in the styling department. Other than that, mechanically, its been a real pleasure to own.

Getting old, but still runs like a top - 1994 Toyota 4Runner
By Susan - April 12 - 8:13 amI have now owned my 1994 4runner for 16 years! I am the 2nd owner, and the mileage is currently at 384,000 km (quite a few miles!). It has been completely dependable while driving in summer through all types of weather, winter in Canada, and in the mountains in the U.S. Its fantastic for taking me and my 2 goldens on camping and ski trips Its starting to need a few repairs, but it has been the best vehicle Ive ever owned by a long shot.

Best Truck Ever - 1994 Toyota 4Runner
By KG - July 23 - 5:26 amI bought this truck brand new in 1994 before the term "SUV" was around. I have over 206,000 miles on it and it still runs great. I have NEVER done anything more than routine oil changes/ spark plug maintenance to the vehicle. This truck has also taken hundreds of miles of off-road pounding up steep canyons as narrow as the truck and over rocks as big as tires with no problems. I wish I could buy it new again, and I will never get rid of it. The only thing bad is that it gets 16 MPG city and 20 MPG on the highway. Also, up steep highway grades the engine will slow a bit, but then it does not have a V-8 as some BIG "SUV" might have.

WHAT A FEELING...TOYOTA!!! - 1994 Toyota 4Runner
By Cali - February 17 - 10:00 amThis vehicle is truly built with toughness and style. You can put it next to a newer model and it still looks presentable. If kept in good maintenance, it will run forever!
