The 2014 Toyota 4Runner has revised exterior styling, new headlights and a revamped interior. A touchscreen-based audio system and Toyota's Entune suite of smartphone-connected apps are standard for all trim levels, as is a rearview camera. There are also minor changes in standard equipment.

Great 4Runner - 2014 Toyota 4Runner
By bevobob - February 10 - 1:28 amI purchased a new 2014 4Runner SR5 Premium because of the reduced interest rates for this model. I previously had a 2006 4Runner Limited and a 2000 Limited, which I was pleased with. I chose the SR5 Premium because it had everything except fancy wheels and the leather seats and I felt the Limited would not hold up well on my ranch with its smaller tires/larger wheels. The engine is efficient and the vehicle has more ground clearance than the 2006 4x4 Limited I had.

Its a beauty! - 2014 Toyota 4Runner
By William Robert - February 8 - 10:33 pmAttention to detail inside and out. The KDSS is awesome and the thing drives like a sedan. The trail edition is packed with every off road gadget youll ever need for camping trips to the desert or mountains. Love the aggressive styling. I smile every time I drive it.

Fail from Toyota - 2014 Toyota 4Runner
By Chris Simmons - November 27 - 7:50 amMultiple trips back to dealer. Radio/Nav issues with Iphone and Android. Moonroof leaks, drivers window rattles, hood shakes at speed. Not a very well engineered or built vehicle by toyota this time. Poor components. All issues for a vehicle with less than 20k miles.

The last of a dying breed - 2014 Toyota 4Runner
By sandman1020 - March 15 - 1:08 pmWe have had our 4 Runner for about a month now and it has been nothing less than spectacular! When we began our search for an SUV we did not want the new trend of the crossover SUV. IMHO a crossover is nothing but a station wagon and most car companies are switching to that trend. Luckily Toyota has stuck to tradition with the 4 Runner by keeping it a true SUV in every sense. The 4 Runner is a true body on truck frame masterpiece that is very fun and easy to drive on the road and is at home when the pavement ends. It has a strong 4.0 V6 at 270 horsepower and 278 pound foot of torque. It will tow up to 4700 pounds which is enough for and ultra lite travel trailer, boat and other various toys.

Best REAL SUV out there - 2014 Toyota 4Runner
By ghost1214 - October 30 - 8:13 amBought the 4 Runner LTD 4x4 after considering the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Read so many many bad things about the jeep I got scared and decided not to purchase it. The Runner is the BEST. Reliable, rugged, 2 year service, excellent off round/snow and very good on highway. The only thing I can say is "oh what a feeling". I love the interior with the black leather. I went to a wedding with it and everyone raved about the SUV.

I love this vehicle, except... - 2014 Toyota 4Runner
By Angela Mac - May 11 - 9:05 pmThe windshield tint or glass causes eye strain, dizziness & headaches on long trips or when commuting daily. I loved everything about this car so much the first 3 months I owned it until I began commuting an hour to work every day and realized that there is something about the windshield that extremely bothers my eyes. My local dealership had a technician drive it and they agreed that it seemed to have a warp to it that made his head hurt while driving it. They replaced it with another factory glass windshield, but it continues to bother me and they say that there is nothing left they can do. I never would have noticed it had I not been driving it so long everyday. Around town or short trips seem completely fine. Other than that its an amazing SUV that I really love driving! Much roomier than the older 4runners inside. Cant wait until I can get this issue fixed or Toyota recalls the windshield!

Top Quality do everything SUV - 2014 Toyota 4Runner
By dgallina - October 12 - 8:11 amPurchased a new 2014 4Runner and absolutely love it. Toyota did a fantastic job with the interior upgrades on the 2014 Limited. Exterior still has that bold yet classy look. Super comfortable interior, seats are the best Ive sat in and ventalation/heat in them is great. 2nd row space is generous and storage area in the back is much larger than our old 4Runner. Power is adequate, however a 6th gear would be nice. Other than that love everything about this vehicle. Highly recommend.

Does not Match up to 2005 4Runner Sport - 2014 Toyota 4Runner
By joestehling - January 12 - 12:57 amBasic vehicle is good but numerous things are cheapened and useless items added from the 2005 Sport model. Reliability has yet to be determined but I am confident it will be as reliable as the 2005 Sport I traded in.
