engine light - 2006 Nissan Murano
By Peni A Buckland - December 30 - 7:36 pmMy engine lite was on constantly. Took to Nissan dealership. Seems it had something to do with broken support bracket drivers side. They wanted $1300 to fix. Called Nissen and they paid for the repair. Took sever conversations but finally go an OK.

Luxury without the price tag - 2006 Nissan Murano
By Darren - December 10 - 7:36 pmThis vehicle is exactly what I was looking for. I was debating between the SUV and the Sedan, and found that this was the best of both worlds. Its not huge, but more than enough room for me and my passengers. The intellikey is great, and even though its no BMW or Lexus, I still feel the same ride and solidity of a high priced luxury vehicle. I would reccomend the touring package, or at least the leather package. You can now get this car at invoice, and the SL with the touring comes to like $31,500. Overall Ive only had this car for a couple days, but definitely worth the money.

Navigating Nissan - 2006 Nissan Murano
By Howard - November 28 - 7:26 pmOne of the best cars I ever owned was a Nissan Maxima. While a very different type of vehicle, the Murano offers the same responsive and well built qualities that my Maxima had. It is a pleasure to drive, and is very sure footed in the snow. Unlike the previous SUV I just traded in, the Murano is all wheel drive all the time, so there is no shifting to 4 wheel drive and grinding when backing up or turning at slow speeds. The Murano is smooth and responsive. The radio controls on the steering wheel. automatic lights, and others features are nice touches. Instead of trying to jam in a cramped 3rd row of seats, the Murano has spacious and comforable rear seats with plenty of room for 3 people.

Drive It!!!! - 2006 Nissan Murano
By C & J - November 19 - 9:06 pmFinally a SUV with a sports sedan feel, its not your moms SUV. We purchased an 06 Murano 3 weeks ago, after driving all of its competitors. It was the ride and styling of the vehicle that sold us. None of the others compared for the $$$. Its a fun car to drive with a comfortable and well laid out interior. We are looking forward to a long road trip.

Murano is a great SUV - 2006 Nissan Murano
By Murano Fan - September 30 - 5:20 amExcellent fuel economy for an SUV. Has styling, comfort, power and class. Interior is accented very well and has a luxury look. Exterior is very stylish with a solid build and classy look. I get a lot of people that want to look at the inside and when they do, they rave about it.

Dont Believe Gas Mileage Ratings - 2006 Nissan Murano
By Ginger - August 6 - 4:13 amWhen we purchased the our 2006 Nissan Murano, one of our major considerations was gas mileage. We were impressed with the manufacturers ratings of 19 city and 24 highway. Well, we have driven our Murano for 5000 miles, changed the oil at 3000 and the best mileage we have gotten on a trip (using cruise control whenever possible) was 17. Around town we are only getting 13-14! I took it back to the dealership today and they told me there is nothing wrong with it-that cars can vary, the ratings are just an estimate, and everyone doesnt get that mileage. I dont feel I drive excessively fast and dont do quick starts or stops, so I just dont understand. Dont trust the mileage Nissan claims!

Best Suv - 2006 Nissan Murano
By gene - July 6 - 6:33 amThis car replaced my 2000 Lexius Rx300. The Lexus was a great car, but I like the Murano even better. I dont think the Lexus is worth $10,000 more, same price maybe I would have gone back to Lexus.Just completed a 3000 mile I95 trip down and back to Florida and got 23 mpg fully loaded and high speed. Unlike others I like the metal finishes on the inside. Gives a high tech and cool feeling. Great seats and I LOVE the rear camera.Holds a ton of stuff. 18 inch tires give the vehicle great height, but still easy to get in and out of and I am only 5.6.
