  • Escape great with a few arghs - 2016 Ford Escape

Great choice. Drives like a dream. This is the Titanium and has the 2.0 Eco Boost which is not on the list above. Voice commands (Sync) are confusing especially when using navigation. Tried to tell it to nav to Ojai. Got a reply that this was not understood. I had to pull over and manually type in Ojai before the nav would work. Not really a Ford issue but thought I would mention it. Great hands free rear door that is height programmable. Important if you have a low garage door. I am disappointed about the MPG. Not what was advertised but the Escape is still new and might get better. More expensive then I wanted to spend but overall it is a great choice for a smaller SUV. My wife loves it and after all isnt that what life is about?

You should expect to get the lowest mpg posted at all times. The fuel tank is very small so you are visiting the gas station every few days.

  • Broke down on the side of the road in my 2016. - 2016 Ford Escape

We purchased this vehicle from Marysville Ford in Washington State. We are soon to have a new teen driver in our family and were in need of a safe, reliable vehicle. I am deeply concerned that I found myself on the side of the road in a rural area with my check engine light blinking and a shuddering vehicle with no acceleration. This scenario is exactly why we impeded on our family budget to purchase what we believed to be a sound investment so our teen driver would not be at the side of the road. After reading other concerning reviews regarding this model I am concerned what the dealership may respond with this fine day. We purchased in December 2016 and have 20,000 miles on the odometer. I would not recommend this vehicle due to these unknown circumstances and note all we have had done to the vehicle are oil changes at the dealership. Wish us luck!

  • Can be a good vehicle, but cheap parts - 2016 Ford Escape

Cheap parts, and bad designs is what sums up my SUV. First, I have the panoramic top and the interior fabric shield is poorly designed. They stretch fabric over a frame that opens and closes below the glass top... the problem is that if you have the windows down, it flaps. Flaps so bad, I have to roll it back to prevent it from tearing itself apart. I bet in a few years, everyone will have to replace this as it will not hold up. Poor design and cheap. In addition to that, the main system of the car is horrible. It is poor connecting to bluetooth devices and is very buggy. There are times that I cant turn off the radio because its locked up... to fix... change to the sirius "output" and then back. That fixes that bug. It can be a good SUV, but they went cheap.

  • Good things come in compact sizes - 2016 Ford Escape

I have the 2016 Escape Titanium with the 2.0 L engine. This SUV has lots of power and handles very well on the road. The Titanium level is loaded with many options and features. Navigation system is very easy to use as is all the function on this SUV. Interior finish quality is first class as is the exterior styling. Love the cargo room and foot activated rear hatch. If anyone is looking for a compact quality SUV with many options the Escape Titanium is the way to go.

  • Real Luxury Great Price - 2016 Ford Escape

After four years of searching for an eventual replacement for our 2002 RAV4 (it simply will not die), we wanted more power, some luxury and modern safety features, all at a good price. We had test driven the Tiguan, Q3, Q5, RDX, CX-5, Forrester XT, Outback, X1, and X3. The only one that we really liked was the BMW X3, but we didnt feel like paying $45k+ for the privilege. We tried a 2.0l 4wd Titanium Escape with the 301A package, moonroof, and navigation and (with incentives) were out the door for under $30k. The Escape is quiet, fast, very comfortable and luxurious, is fun to drive, and has all the capabilities we wanted in a relatively compact package. Gas mileage has been approx 25 mpg in mixed driving. Time will tell if it will be as reliable as we hope, but so far we cant fault it or the value.

Great practical car. Nice finish inside and out. Good acceleration with ecoboost. Voice commands could work better. Rear sensors, camera work well. Auto lift gate works as advertised. Great around town smaller SUV. Combined mileage has been lower than expected at about 19.5.
