Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

my frist 8,000 km eperience - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By sammmaasehhn - January 20 - 10:00 amgood size, good match with fuel economy to power ignition key sticks sometimes in lock or wont turn unless steering wheel is turned to take preasure off if parked with wheels turned. everything else works as it should they should offer the 180 horsepower 1.8 engine on the "sport" model as a option. currently have 8300 km on it

Dust Eclipses in a 4-door - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By Paul_Can - January 20 - 10:00 amNot only does the Corolla S look awesome, but you can dust just about any 4 banger on the road with this 1.8L 5 speed. Ive dusted Mitsubishis, Hondas and even SUVs left and right in a car that gets almost 40 MPG combined. The inside is perfect, the outside is perfect, I cant say enough about the best selling car of all time!

Great little car. - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Dennis Holt - January 19 - 2:03 pmThis car feels solid and rides solid and comfortable. The fuel economy is excellent. I am a 6 ft. 2in. adult and I have taken this car on long trips without feeling the need to stop and rest often. I have a bad back and this car is comfortable to drive. It gives a nice quiet ride.

Great Value - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Suechik - January 18 - 1:10 pmI had researched the Honda Civic and the Saturn Ion Quad Coupe before purchasing my Toyota. The Civic was equal with the exception of comfort on the inside. Comparing the Civic to my Corolla, the seats are just more comfortable. The Ion coming from GM and their reputation forced me to the Toyota Corolla. I am happy with my purchase. The Corolla also has a little more get up and go than does the Civic. If you are vehicle shopping, definitely consider the Corolla.

Worst Purchase Ive ever made! - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By ralph - January 17 - 8:46 amBuying this car was a biggest mistake in my life. Poorest customer service, uncomfortable Steering wheel, Problems with trunk lid closing, cheap material used for interior, seats not comfortable, Toyota does not allow you to put floor mats on the driving side, which is insane as you ruin your cars carpet much sooner. Gas pedal problem was never resolved. I took it to the dealers and they cheated that it has been fixed. In fact, they just took the floor mat away. No compensation was offered for the recall. Please think 100 times before buying this car. You may have other great options in the market such as Honda, Nissan, and Hyundai. Final word, be careful, Toyotas dealers are butchers!

Great car!! - 2008 Toyota Corolla
By wake - January 16 - 8:40 pmMy Toyota Corolla is an excellent car. It gets great gas mileage, is very reliable, and is actually somewhat peppy for having such a small motor (if i wanted a fast car I would not have bought a Corolla). This car is excellent for people who want a car to get from work and back, or for a small family who want a reliable car at a decent price.

A 10 - 2008 Toyota Corolla
By Driving 40 + years - January 14 - 6:30 amI have driven many different vehicles since the mid 1960s and cars have certainly evolved over the years. I have also done minor repairs and maintenance on cars. Have owned several sports cars and even a Honda Hybrid a few years ago. The Corolla offers the best of all worlds. Over 30 mpg city (32 to 34), with the standard transmission. A solidly built and realible vehicle, good gas mileage, fun to drive and attractive enough in design and style (the "s" model). While the Corolla may be a bit more expensive than similar competitors, "you get what you pay for". Toyotas reliability is worth the price alone.

Change is not better!!! - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By minnics1 - January 14 - 2:00 amI have been extremely unhappy with the quality of this vehicle and the service of the dealer (New Holland Toyota, PA). I have had it back repeately for stupid little things that they just dont seem to be able to fix. It even had a rear wheel bearing go a week after I got it. I guess thats what happens when you build a foreign car in Kentucky, USA. Worse than the quality is the ruined handling of this vehicle. They have made it higher and it now has serious body roll, it doesnt corner well at all. There is no power to this vehicle, especially if you put 4 people in it. If I could take it back I would!!!
