Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Dont Waste Your Time or Money! - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By cdh0730 - February 20 - 1:26 amI have a 2010 Corolla LE. The entire dash, the doors and the back rattle BADLY. If I go over a bump in the road, it sounds like the car is literally going to fall apart. We have had to have the rotors replaced or turned about six times now. This car barely has 60k miles on it! I have a 2001 Ford (with 160k miles) and I have replaced the rotors ONCE. We are also about to put on the third set of tires. Each time I go to the dealership, there is yet another recall. The interior design on this car is horrible, and dont even get me started on the seat fabric! There is four year old lint on my seats that I have given up on. Save yourself the hassle, and dont buy this piece of junk!

2009 Toyota Corolla S - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By 09corolla - February 17 - 10:12 pmThis is my second toyota corolla and i have alway loved toyota and could not see myself buying anything else. Well this car has changed that opinion and my next car will not be a toyota. This 2009 has had the whole A/C replaces, cam shaft gear, starter and the car still has problems starting. My corolla only had 56,000 miles. Total cost of repairs under warranty is over $9,000…. beware of the 2009 year.

The Best Choice - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Gigglez - February 17 - 2:50 pmI recently brought 2009 Corolla about 1 month ago, used to have 93 Corolla with 185k miles. I drive about 25 miles a day on highway. There arent any loud wind noises when driving 65mph, nor does the car shake.Great acceleration. I get about 36+ miles per gallon. I love the design and everything about it. Like everyone else said, the clock is in awkward space.

Great car,but boring! - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Haasyman - February 15 - 10:00 amBought my 2004 Corolla Ce last year.It is better built then even what my beloved Civics were but i have to say that Civics are much more comfortable to drive and stylish,on that note my Corolla gives me much better highway performance as far as accleration goes than my civics ever did.Reliabilty has been the best of any car i ever had and it seems to get better every day.No surprises with this car ,good on highway, but boring, boring ,boring, inside and out.If its looks your after choose a Honda Civic or Mazda 3!

I love my silver S - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By Brian O - February 13 - 10:00 amIt is quick, nimble, easy to drive, and just an overall great looking & driving car. I havent had a single problem with the car only the dealership (on my first oil change they broke the plug and oil leaked all over my new garage floor but caused no damage to the car itself). I think this is a great looking car and I get compliments about it all the time. If you are looking for a nice looking, reliable, dependible, funcional, and just all around great car check one of these out I love it and so will you!

Great Value - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By Jesseusn - February 11 - 10:33 pmLE w/moonroof/auto. Does everything well. Good, if sometimes busy ride. Firm seats comfortable for long trips. Headroom fine for my 75" under sunroof. Fairly quiet ride. Good sound system. Roomy trunk. Outstanding economy, 30-35 mpg. Driving postition is a bit odd when hands are at 10 and 2 on wheel. Its fine for the 4 and 8 oclock position the pros recommend. Only gripe is that useful options e.g. alloys, stability, abs, hard to find. Distributors prefer packing the car with pricey junk like paint sealant, stripes, etc.

Disappointed - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Joey C. - February 9 - 10:43 amI bought a Toyota because Id heard good things about them. I can only hope theyre reliability exceeds build quality. At 54,000 or so miles there began a pronounced rattling under the dash. By 56000 or so miles, there were more along with rattling in the rear of the cabin. The car I traded in was a Mitsubishi Eclipse with 310688 miles. The Toyota has more rattles at 56000 miles than the Eclipse with over 310,000. I did contact Toyota about this. By how their response read, they couldnt help because my car wasnt a Certified Pre-Owned. My next vehicle WONT be a Toyota.
