Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

COROLLA S - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By CKING - July 10 - 10:00 amThoroughly enjoy this car. The look is terrific. Excellent pick up. More interior room than the 2001 Corolla LE which I also own. Only wish the center console arm rest was a bit higher.

Get some snow tires... - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Todd - July 4 - 12:53 amI bought this car back in April of last year and posted a review in July. Since then, Ive had my first experience with it in snow and have some advice for those that want to buy one - get. some. snow. tires! The performance tires that come on the car are great on dry asphalt but I couldnt do a thing with the car once a half inch of snow was on the ground. No go; no stop; no turn.

I love my corolla - 1999 Toyota Corolla
By Mal - July 2 - 10:00 amThis vehicle has been great. I havent had a major problem and I drive 100 miles a day to work. I change the oil every 5K and have just installed platinum spark plugs. It is really reliable and I feel confident in it. We are considering purchasing a second one since my husbands gm car is really starting to die.

Corolla -S Rocks - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By brian m - July 2 - 10:00 amI have been driving a 92 Camry since 94, I drove it into the Dealer with 194k, I told them that since they only had 4 Corollas on the lot that I would have to order mine, the dealer assured me that the were not in production anymore, so I settled on a Black Corolla S, it had all the options I wanted and more, except for the moon roof, wich the dealer promised me they could install and it would be exactly the same as the factory install, turns out it wasnt nothing like the factory install and after the 24 hour waiting period, I pressed the buttons and it didnt work, its under warranty so I guess they will be fixing it soon, at any rate, driving this car is extremly fun

Corolla LE - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By paradise_city - July 1 - 8:53 pmFor an economy car it has ample room for a normal sized person. I like the pep the car has and it can zip around with ease. Nice body styling with very easy to use dash panel controls. The interior does not appear "cheap" like some of the other economy cars. Smooth ride on good surface but you feel it when the road gets bumpy.

2003 Toyota Corolla LE - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By brian - June 30 - 8:40 amThis is one of the best cars in the world for the price and more. I love my Corolla. Turns on a dime, great gas mileage avg 25-27 mpg at speeds of 80-90 all the time. Over 6 yrs ownership, and oil changes and tire rotations are your only maintenance items needed. Excellent ride, great interior, lots extras, @ 74,000 miles it still feels new, with new tires and struts, this will feel like a brand new car. Everyone that drives in my car, complements it in one way or another. Compare it to any car out there and it can compete. Better reliability than a BMW or Mercedes for half the money.

Defects in design - 2014 Toyota Corolla
By flyhi152 - June 30 - 6:50 amwhenever something is wrong with the car, Toyotas answer is: the car is designed like that. The GPS is designed to take me to addresses several miles from their actual location. it is designed to take me in circles and it is designed to take me several miles into dead end streets. (I paid about $ 1,500 Dollars for this feature and have to stick my 4 year old Garmin onto the windshield). Also, I got a speeding ticket because the speedometer is designed to be unreadable when the sun shines through the window. Within a few months I have seen several 2014 Corollas driving with the taillights off.

Not Impressed - 2008 Toyota Corolla
By nomoretoyota4 - June 30 - 6:44 amBought this car end of 2007. Car would just accelerate while I was driving it or putting the brake. Almost caused an accident; very scary. Had to take it in for the recall; check engine light went on; occasionally would not start. Had a leaky brake; mechanic stated it was flaw in manufacturing. Have approx. 53,000 miles on the vehicle and the exhaust pipe rusted through right before the muffler. Other issues include: hard to see out the back window due to backseat head rests, archaic design, ice freezes in the trunk cover in the winter; ends up in the trunk every time its opened. In other words, I did not care that the car was ugly, just wanted something reliable. I am NOT IMPRESSED.
