This Year's Model Updates:

For 2007, Toyota has discontinued the sporty Corolla XRS trim level. For the LE trim, leather seating is no longer available.

Pros:
  • Roomy interior, fuel-efficient engine, illustrious reliability record.
Cons:
  • Awkward driver-seat position, bland on-road personality, lack of model variation and upscale convenience features, gets pricey even when equipped with just the basics.

  • Toyota Corolla S Excellent Car - 2007 Toyota Corolla

The guy who wrote that this car is almost blown away in a windy freeway is absolutely right. But this could happen to any small car. The only thing I dont like from this car is the extra plastic bumpers on the bottom of car. Excellent overall quality, great gas mileage, well designed interior actually was the main reason I choose this s model the black interior reminds me the Audi a-4 1.8l. The paint on these cars is really bad quality, I dont know why Toyota is not taking care of this issue, and add for $499 extra dollars the coat protector here in Miami this is a most to protect cars paint considering here temperatures reaches an average of 92 degrees.

This is a lot more car than I expected. Great fuel economy, reasonable price, solid Toyota quality and dependability.

Great car. Excellent gas mileage...about 36 - 37 MPG for highway and city combined. Love the body style. Very reliable, no problems at all except for the usual things that have to be replaced over time. Front brakes pads and windshield wipers are almost ready to be replaced and Ive put over 85,000 miles on it already. (I have a long drive to work every day.) Would gladly buy another one. Only problem Ive had is the overhead light, its a little touchy. You have to put the switch in just the right spot before it will turn on.

Mechanic says at 125,000 miles (mostly highway miles) itll go another 125,000. Its that well-made. Rust appeared only in 10th year of ownership and I had it removed. Now its like new.

I love this car! The gas mileage is great, and it has decent power for a compact car. I recently got in an accident with this car and it held up great, no injuries. When we buy another car it will be another Corolla.

  • Great Reliable car - 2007 Toyota Corolla

I like how many of the reviews on this car from people are negative since the issue with the recalls. If you go back a couple pages to before December 2009 you will find the truth. Over all this is a great vehicle. Its by no means luxury. but it gets the job done every time. My Toyota like many others got a new set of tires and brakes at 45,000 but who cares. motor and trans are still tight. Im sure I will see 200,000 out of this car. A great value and best in class for sure I had a 2003 before I bought my 2007 and put 286,000 on it without so much as replacing the alternator. I think battery tires brakes were it. keep making them Ill keep buying them.

  • Why I like the 07 Corolla - 2007 Toyota Corolla

I love the way that it fits to my body. I sat in it at the dealership and I instantly fell in love. Samantha, (my saleswoman)is young, so she and I were able to relate about the sleek design and look that it has. The way that it handles the road makes me smile, and its ability to move so quickly are awsome!

  • My Corolla is great! - 2007 Toyota Corolla

I love my Toyota. It looks great and sporty for a Corolla. It is very comfortable to drive and I get 32 miles per gallon on daily commutes and 38 miles per gallon on trips. The only thing that is a little challenging is that it is harder than average to see the rear when backing up, etc. because of rear headrests and the high back design.

  • More car for the money - 2007 Toyota Corolla

This is my first Toyota. I have always had Civic, but Honda got pricey. I am impressed with Corolla. What a value. Seat is high, ride smooth. Sure Civic is more stylish but similarly equipped is not worth extra 4 K. Have it for over 2 weeks and still use gas from the dealer. Very good value especially if you do not add extras. Factory equipped is good for me. All I need is AC and Stereo. I do not get it why Edmund says it is too expensive. Compare to Honda it is a bargain. You can get it below Invoice while Honda wants at least MSRP or more.

I just recently purchased my 2007 Corolla and it has 9400 miles on it and I love the car. I am getting combined mileage of 31 mpg! It runs and drives great, I test drove several other cars and decided this is the best value and do not regret it one bit. I highly recommend this car to anyone looking for an economical vehicle.
