Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Great compact car for the money - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By Chris - February 18 - 2:16 amJust got this vehicle for my wife and she just LOVES it. I own 2 other Toyotas and it is just as dependable as my 4 runner and tacoma. Excellent gas mileage and for a small car very comfortable. Traded in a Lincoln Towncar so I wasnt sure what to expect as far as ride quality but was very surprised that it was quite comfortable.

10000 miles - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By Bill Whitlock - February 15 - 3:23 pmGas mileage, low 27 high 39, average local driving 30/31, interstate 32. Front seats are good, trunk space good for small car, small opening. Drives good but steering is numb. Horn sounds like it belongs on a childs toy. Low beams are poor, they light the road surface but very little else. Very sensitive to wind. Transmission shifts good during local easy driving. After downing shifting on hilly interstates the shift from 3 to 4 is hard. Transmission slow to down shift when driving back roads. Very hard to see out the back when parking. Engine sounds like a putt putt car. Radio sound is ok, changing cds is different than most. Car is rough when crossing joints in the road

Wonderful experience - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By wowa1999 - February 14 - 10:00 amI would recommend this car to everyone. It would benefit from some minor improvements (see below) and I wish it came as wagon. Very good driving experience. Also the car attract attention.

Itll last forever - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By bobmarley - February 8 - 2:00 amOne thing that is great is how long your car will last. My boyfriend has an 1985 Toyota Corolla and his car is still as reliable as mine. This is what encouraged me to purchase one. I would suggest this buy for anyone.

A good choice - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Bluedaisy - February 8 - 2:00 amI already have a 1990 Toyota Corolla and I decided to buy the 2004 Corolla. Theyre very dependable cars I still have my 1990 and I dont plan on getting rid off it. I got my car for a good price and I just want to say that the people at Neil Honda in Lynbroook are so nice, they really care about the customer. I encourage anyone interested in a corolla to go in for it.

nothing boring about this car - 2012 Toyota Corolla
By isanlu - February 8 - 12:51 amI was in the market for a new sedan as a second car to our familys minivan. I never liked the corolla before and had Jettas and Civics in the past. This time we decided to test drive every comparable model (Corolla, Jetta, Mazda 3, Sentra, Civic, Cruize, Accent and Rio). All very nice, similar prices, sizes and specs. The Corolla was the last one we tested, as soon as I got behind the wheel I felt at Home, yes maybe an outdated dashboard but after the ones from the Civic, Cruize, Mazda and Accent (they all reminded me of Video Game Consoles), this one just felt right. It is the most quite of them all on the road, simply said it is a Lexus and I am very happy. Power is excellent

Best Car Ever - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Best Car Ever - February 7 - 1:03 pmBought brand new from local Toyota dealer. Best car I have ever owned. I had 2002 civic and 2002 mazda Protege before and theyre both terrible. My corolla had almost 150,000 miles and never had any problems. I get about 33-35MPG on mixed driving. I would buy another corolla without any questions. This cars quality and reliability is no match. This car has zero problems after 150k Miles.

1996 Corolla That Gave Its Life for Me - 1996 Toyota Corolla
By DMM - February 6 - 10:00 amThis was the best car Ive had in quote a while. It ran better at 60K miles than my Ford Escort did brand new. I bought it at 60K miles, put 40K miles on it in a little over a year, and after the 100K service at the Toyota Dealership, it ran better than it ever had. I was run off the highway by a semi into the center divide - the Corolla was totaled, but I was able to walk away. I highly recommend the Toyota Corolla.

Great Car - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By dfgausa - February 6 - 10:00 amI had a Corolla 94 before which was a good car with more than a 120K miles. Thats why I decided to go with the new corolla S on 2001. I think they have improved their suspension and with the new technology on the engine going anywhere makes any trip comfortable. Although I should say I regret I didnt wait until 2002 to get the new Corolla 2003
