Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

No Worries - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By G. Brooks - April 16 - 12:40 pmThis is a great little car for work and everyday driving. Even with a small 12 gallon gas tank it seems I can go weeks without filling it. Its fun to drive and comes with a great stereo.

2006 Toyota Corolla LE - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By K - April 14 - 5:06 pmI love my 2006 Toyota Corolla LE. It has never given me any problems. Only routine maintenance. I love the great fuel economy especially because of high fuel costs. It also handles much better than even the Mustang. My Corolla handles better at 100mph that the Mustang at 75. I love my car and was glad I invested in it

Esthers Interior departing - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By Esther Dudley - April 12 - 2:06 amI love my car but I am very disappointed with what is happening to my interior. I have already replaced my exterior around two of my windows. This is truly a problem with the manufacture I think. This is causing me money to fix and stress because of the way the car is looking. This is my second Toyota and I can not believe what is going on. When I went to the dealership where I purchased the car they did not show interest in fixing the car but for me to purchase. I am trying to find out if this is a recall.

GOOD Car - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By black10 - April 11 - 4:13 amI purchased the Corolla S. This is a real good car. it has a good fuel consumption rate if you drive moderately. i put ten dollars in and it will last me for three days. like any other car, if you floor it, it will go. if you put premium gas in it, it REALLY takes off. This car is a cruise type of car. Driving at 60- 80 burns the gas good. The ABS is REALLY annoying. Every bump you brake on, the thing just keeps on coming on. have no control on it. Steering system is good. the sound system could be more louder. the interior is ok but it can be better. Suspension is real good too. you really dont feel any bumps on the road, even when driving fast.

A Very Sweet Ride - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By Xeos131 - April 9 - 10:00 amBefore I actually purchased my Corolla, I did extensive research on every car in its class. Let me tell you, I made the right choice. This was my first car, and I wanted it to be a car that would be economic yet sporty, and fun yet safe, not to mention reliable. So far, my cute Corolla S hasnt disappointed me yet. It has gotten head turn after head turn, and all my friends love it. If you are thinking about getting this car, do it! None of its classmates come close, in my opinion, at least.

Front end rattle - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Kurt - April 8 - 8:43 amI had this car for only about a month when it developed a loud rattle in the front end on both sides. Took it back to the dealer and after a "test drive", they found no problem to fix and didnt hear any noises from the front end. They replaced some plastic clips holding a cover under the car and sent me on my way. The noise is getting worse and nobody seems to care. Going to an independent mechanic soon to get his opinion.

Ford Mustang 4 cyl to Toyota Corolla S - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Chris Chase - March 29 - 10:00 amI decided to go for the plunge and replace my 93 4 cylinder Mustang with a 03 Toyota Corolla S. I was impressed with the fuel economy and safety ratings of the Corolla. Plus, I was tired of getting nailed each year on insurance with my Mustang, even though the 4 banger Mustang was extremely safe in collisions at normal driving speeds and didnt go very fast. Wow! Even though both cars are lightweight, get 30+ mpg, and have manuals, the Corolla is much quicker and the Corolla is more fun to drive. The Corolla also gets better mileage. After, I drove the Corolla, I immediatly jumped ship and said goodbye to the beloved Mustang.
