Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Toyota Corolla CE Automatic, 2005 - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By tigresmoon - July 12 - 10:00 amThis car is very comfortable for its size and the gas mileage is really great..It handles well, Feels solid, and performs well...Having owned many smaller cars, I feel this is the best for the bucks...You may pay a bit more, but considering you can get over 150,000+ miles out of these cars if you take care of them, I think this is one of the greatest buys out there...A Very reliable car..The dealership where I purchased my Corolla is great also...

Good car; poor gas mileage - 2002 Toyota Corolla
By steve9723 - July 9 - 2:00 amI took a step down from a Camry to a Corolla because I wanted a more fuel efficient car. Unfortunately, I get about the same gas mileage as my Camry (23-24 mpg) - others who have Corollas have said the same. I like the car, but Ill go back to a Camry next time.

Corolla or wind tunnel? - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By hiya - July 9 - 2:00 amI enjoy this vehicle except for the excessive road noise. It makes it impossible to hear the cell-phone and completely negates any sound quality from the stereo.

Excellent - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By tp13fox - July 8 - 5:30 pmPros: If you are looking for a 1st New Car to buy or lease, I recommend the Corolla. The MPG cant be beat both on Highway and city. It has excellent carrying capacity which is surprising for a car this size. For a 4 cyl it is fast and lightweight which all contribute to fuel economy. Cons: Some people like the low-rider look with low fenders which the sport model features. Downside is it easily scratched on concrete parking blocks or dips especially exitting elevated parking.

Corolla CE was a great choice - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Braswells - July 8 - 7:36 amOther than the drivers side side mirrors having blind spots I really love this car. I get 32-35 mpg. Had to replace a belt at 35000 miles. No other problems. This car is as simple as it gets but parts not there wont cause trouble. It wont win any races and if you dont mind not to have power doors or windows and can drive a standard, this could be a great car for you.

Love it - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By CE - July 7 - 5:53 amI love this car. This is my third Corolla, the only thing I wish for, when I back out, the visibility is not as good as I would like it to be. It has great road feel, very positive steering and drives like a sports car. For the price it is a good bargain. I have not had a single adjustement, who ever put this car together did a super job. Congrats TOYOTA keep up the good work.

Toyotas for me! - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By Mike - July 4 - 1:23 pmStill own a 1996 Tacoma 4x4 with 308,000 miles and is an excellent truck. Needed better mpg, and since Corolla has been in the Toyota lineup for 40 yrs, I decided that would work for me. I havent been disappointed at all. Low maintenance (doesnt even require auto tranny fluid changes!). No mechanical problems in 40,000 so far.

Love this car! - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Jack Herbon - July 3 - 6:26 amI purchased my Toyota Corolla in September 2005. I chose the silver mica color and have no regrets. This color always looks clean even during the winter. I wanted a car with real good gas mileage and the Corolla has not disappointed me once bit! If your looking for a car that will not eat into your wallet then make sure you check out this car. Very fun to drive and good pickup.
