Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

My Car!!! - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By G Dot Muri - November 13 - 6:20 amThis car is my favorite car yet. i test drove a Chevy cobalt and was somehow and in someway digusted by it. But this car is great. I get about 32 miles per gallon on it everytime i drive it. I fill up the tank once a month and thats really all I need. The clock could have been in a better position and the speakers arent really great but i do love my moon roof and the automatic headlights. Steering is going good for me, I like it so I dont know what these other people are talking about. This car even looks good from the outside. better than the cobalt and civic in my opinion, but thats just me. my wife likes it too!

I hate new cars-but love my new Toyota - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Kathryn - November 10 - 2:53 amI waited a long time to buy a new car, but finally decided to take the plunge. Picked the Toyota Corolla for reliability, gas mileage and looks. A little on the pricey side for a base model, but with gas prices the way they are, you cant beat the gas mileage I am getting from this car! The outside is nice and neat. The car handles nicely and for a 4-cylinder 1.8 - it can move! Interior is laid out nicely - driver seating takes some getting used to though, hard to adjust. The trunk cargo space is very good for a small car. Love the flip down passenger seats for extra cargo space. All in all, I have come to really love my new ride!

Nice Little Car - 2008 Toyota Corolla
By missem2003 - November 8 - 8:20 amI purchased this car in December and have liked the overall interior and exterior look. I got the black/charcoal interior. It looks really nice and Im hoping that the clean-look lasts in comparison to beige/tan interiors. Im really happy with the look. The exterior color is Phantom Grey and its absolutely gorgeous! Its dark enough to cause some mystery but not too dark if you know what I mean. My car comes with slight factory tinting, though you may want to get a darker tinting for that special look. The fuel economy is pretty average. I think that the last time I looked a full tank lasted 280-miles give or take a couple of miles. Its pretty average, considering its a 2008.

What Else Could Happen? - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Jayris - November 2 - 6:50 amOkay, so before I fell out of love with this car, I loved it. No problems came along. Nothing what so ever. Now its a different story. Since the beginning of last year, Ive numerous problems out "Toyotas best selling car". First was my drive belt or serpentine belt, whatever that is. Then my transmission started acting weird, so I had the fluids changed and still the same problem. Now its the brakes. My rotors are in bad condition with extremely heavy pulsation and shaking when braking. Ive had service done about three times for the same problem and it still continues. Now theres a recall out. What else could go wrong!? Sometimes I wish that Id never purchased this car.

First Thousand Miles - Excellent - 2014 Toyota Corolla
By tfc4 - October 31 - 2:49 pmI had a 2006 Camry SE V6 for eight years. I call my 2014 Corolla LE Premium my "mini-Camry". Its very spacious, has very comfortable seats, excellent handling (firm, but easily controlled) with high end Michelin Primacy 60K tires, very quiet overall (no wind noise), delivers 38 mpg on the high and 34 mpg in town, has excellent visibility, fit and finish. I love the instant/trip average mpg bar chart on the Infotainment Center. Bought it without the normally included moon roof and Entune radio ($2400 extra). Has surprisingly good acceleration; no problem passing anything on the road. Rear view camera is a terrific - should be on every car.

Reliable, Slightly Zippy Commuter Car - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By coloradohunters - October 28 - 2:00 amMy Corolla has been an excellent commuter car - great gas mileage (close to 30 around town), easy to drive, and even a little peppy when you need it. For the 5 years my wife and I have driven it weve had no problems with it. Although it can be sluggish when its loaded down. When my wife and I switched cars, my Camry for her Corrolla, I had to get use the less leg room and foot room.

A surprise sports car - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Yoda Pop - October 28 - 2:00 amIve always had a sports car(Volvo P1800,RX7,CRX)in addition to our primary vehicle, so I was not too keen on replacing such with a 5 passenger economy car. What a surprise our 2004 Toyota Corolla has been--its a ball to drive! I miss the gutsy engine sound of yore, but accelleration and handling are on par with the Honda CRX Si. Plus I can now take 3 passengers along. All the emphasis on fun cars nowadays is on overpowered premium fuel burners. If youre looking for a practical pocket rocket check out this car. Note: I had to special order to get LX with 5 speed manual. Only the LX comes with height adjustable drivers seat--which I found neccessary.

Perfect commuter car - 2008 Toyota Corolla
By lonniegray - October 26 - 6:02 amThis is an economy car, a little higher priced for that purpose but you get what you pay for. What I was willing to pay for was dependability, good gas mileage and easy to drive. What I got was exactly that. I bought this car new in 2008 and have driven it 120,000 miles and it has NEVER been in the shop except for oil changes, new brake pads and tires. It has been very dependable and worth every dollar I paid for it. It isnt a sexy car, or the best handling or very powerful but it does get around 33 miles per gallon, nice trunk space and decent interior space for its size. Overall, this car is perfect for what it is intended to be, highly recommend it to anyone.

Great Car - 1997 Toyota Corolla
By abuttimer - October 25 - 2:00 amI highly recommend this vehicle for anyone interested in a car that starts every time. Keep gas in it and worry about more important things in life than your car.
