Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

We purchased the S model in dark gray with a moonroof and spoiler and it is simply gorgeous. On top of it being a beautiful car, it is an amazing ride.

This is a very good looking car and one that handles well on the road. I enjoy the white dials on the dash board as they are so much easier to read. I have the wood grain dash and it is very classic looking.

  • Great..but.. - 2003 Toyota Corolla

Love the car, was going to get Civic, but I am so glad I didnt. Only thing is mine had/has a few issues. Air recirculation was broken from the start. My brakess slip slightly when I am at a comlete stop, and makes clink sound when going into reverse. Dealer cant duplicate so they wont look at it. Its minor but it bugs me. All in all, I love the car. And if you try to replace the rear speakers, get a pro to do it or get ready to do some major work.

  • Highly dissapointed- will never buy Toyota again - 2009 Toyota Corolla

2 months after warranty was over (oh yeah!), check engine light went on (P2727) with less than 50k miles. Ended up changing both the torque converter and solenoids as well as the sensor to get rid of the light... 10 miles later, the light went off again... Theyre telling me now that the computer has issues which has to be changed. I dont know whom to trust and what to do next. Will trade in my car for another car which wont be a Toyota for sure.... Yep, Toyotas legendary reliability is only good until youre covered under warranty... My advice to you if you decide buy a Toyota, add an extended warranty...

  • Best car Ive ever owned - 1997 Toyota Corolla

Bought this car used from a rental agency, with 20K miles on it. It has been the sole transportation for myself and my 2 children for the last 10 years. The only repair Ive had to make was a starter replacement. Nothing else but scheduled maintenance. The car is comfortable and totally reliable, even at 210,000 miles. Has a very solid feel, handles well at all speeds, reasonable acceleration, 33-35 mpg even at interstate speeds.

  • Awesome Car - 2003 Toyota Corolla

There isnt much to say other than Toyota is the best and the 2002 Corolla is just part of its great family of cars.

  • A Pleasant Suprise - 2009 Toyota Corolla

We purchased a 2009 Corolla LE about 8 weeks ago and have been very happy with the purchase. The car came with many features, like automatic headlights and programmable door locks, that we would have expected with a much more expensive vehicle. The car is used mainly for running around town and short trips. While the car is comfortable for short trips, I am not sure I would take it on trips of more than 2 hours one way because the seats seem uncomfortable after driving for extended periods of time. We have been making fewer stops at the gas station as we are averaging just over 36 mpg. Overall, I would definitely recommend this car to anyone considering a small fuel efficient vehicle.

This car is awesome! Its durable and reliable! I feel so comfortable and safe while driving in this car! The seats are super comfy, the outside look of the car is hot, and it handles well - around turns, speeding up quickly, etc. I shopped around for a new car for quite some time and Im very happy with my choice. Its great for the money - great on gas, great look - worth every penny!
