Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Great Fit/Great Choice - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Dawn - February 27 - 10:50 pmHad been looking at buying a Ford TX, but mpg wasnt any better than my 16 yr. old car. Had owned a Corolla 10 years earlier and decided to try again. Test drove a S model and knew immediately this was the car for me! Getting 29-30 city/35 highway so far- only/2700 miles on car. Have recd lots of compliments on the style, interior and color (metallic charcoal). Had windows tinted which not only saves on fade on the black interior, but also adds to the sleek exterior. Steering a bit too nimble at times. Had read reviews about clock position, so expected this minor inconvenience. A bit hard to see when reversing - maybe backup sensors as option in future? Best decision ever made!

Bluetooth FAIL no voice dialing...very limited while in motion. - 2013 Toyota Corolla
By mwadeb - February 25 - 11:51 pmI actually cant wait to get rid of this car, and Ive only had it 5000 miles. The Bluetooth in the 2014 Corolla does NOT have voice dialing. It really sucks. You cannot even view your contacts while driving. You cannot manually enter a phone number while driving. There are only two ways to make a call while the car is in motion: 1. Calling a recent number (called out or received while in the car). 2. Speed dials, if you have placed that person in your speed dial entry in the car...which is limited in the number of entries. Maybe its my phone, but it only locks up after pairing with the car.

Design unfriendly. - 2008 Toyota Corolla
By Masood - February 22 - 11:40 pmThe drivers seat is very uncomfortable in a city driving condition. It does not hold you in at turns, very hard to sit on. The height adjuster for seat is not easy to work with. My Corolla LE 2008 has only 12700 miles, but the engine makes a popping noise and a shifting noise when I either put it in Drive or Reverse gear. I constantly have to adjust the side view mirrors to match the seat height. The car gives me 28 mpg in town. Its hard to see the side of the car at turns. There should have been a turn signal built on the front side like 10" behind the head light on both sides. It will be easier for other cars in the lanes next to Corolla to see. Same signal should be on all four sides of the car.

Best Economy Value - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Bart 15 - February 22 - 10:00 amOutstanding car that delivers more than what you pay for. Toyota delivers outstanding fit and finish throughout their entire product line - even the economy end. Have had two plus four hour trip and felt very comfortable - offers excellent back support. Very impressed with the smooth transmission. I have the LE with leather package. Wish they offered heated seats but understand the have to create some differentation to sell the more profitable Camry. If you need a great vehicle that delivers comfort, reliability, and quality the Corolla cant be beat.

My 2nd Corolla! - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By calledmac - February 22 - 8:00 amThis is my second Corolla. My first was a 93 base model and my new Corolla LE proves to be even more outstanding! I left the Toyota brand and drove a Nissan Sentra for a few years, the whole time wishing I still had my old Corolla. So glad to be back! The LE has a very nice design and is fun to drive. The steering has not been a problem for me, nor has the gas pedal or floor mats.

Excellent Budget Purchase - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By Phil T - February 20 - 10:00 amIf you are looking for a high mileage, sporty, reliable commuter, this is the car for you. I went through 3 months of research on the Honda Civic, Mazda 3, and this car. For the money, my needs as a 70 mile commuter a day, Toyota reliability. The decision was easily made. I love the look of the car looks much better than the smiley Mazda or the alien looking Civic. Some notes to those that read other peoples review. The suspension is sport tuned so the steering is a little light at first but with a little break in the steering is more weighted and is easy to drive.
