Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • Great reliable small car - 2010 Toyota Corolla

We shopped around quite a while for a "recession car" and finally arrived at the 2010 Corolla LE. We traded in a Jaguar for it. At first going from a Jag to a Corolla may seem like car shock, but my wife really loves the Corolla. The Corolla boasts a nice ride for a small car. The steering and handling feels safe and secure but not especially "sporty", but that doesnt bother us. The car is surprisingly quiet and gas mileage is ridiculously good. For a small car Im impressed. The ride cant compete with an upscale car, but then again an upscale car cant compete with the Corollas combination of practicality, low price and great gas mileage. Were VERY happy and highly recommend this car.

With 27k miles its been flawless. I avg 30mpg city and up to 41mpg hwy. I have the JBL sound upgrade its nice. The VSC traction is really a must and I love that option. I like knowing I have the side air curtains. It handles great in the snow with the stock tires. Overall its a good looking quiet riding car.

  • More Bang For Your Buck - 2009 Toyota Corolla

Ive had my Corolla for two months now, it did 25.8 mpg city with a heavy gas hitter. The trunk has room for all my golf clubs and the split seat works well for my fishing rods. The placement of everything is logical accept the clock. The center console is a bit small along with the little compartment with the outlet. The plastic does scratch easily leaving marks. Everything feels solid nothing loose and feeling like it would break. The seating position can fit all, Im 511 with long legs and its really comfortable. If your looking for an economy car that gives you the most bang for the buck, this is it. A very big improvement from last years model.

The gas mileage I get is 35 mpg. This is excellent. Ive always been a fan of Toyota reliability. I am still satisfied with the Corolla.

  • Fast for its class, not comfortable - 2015 Toyota Corolla

Ride is pretty rough. Fuel mileage definitely not as advertised. If youre tall, youll hit your head almost every time you get in. Comfortable once inside, plenty of head room, but getting out will be a challenge if youre not agile.

  • Great Car For Any Price - 2005 Toyota Corolla

Overall I love the Corolla. Look at the plusses and minuses below, but you will not go wrong in purchasing this car. The only recommendation I have is to spring for the JBL Audio System.

  • Great Little Car - 2006 Toyota Corolla

I live in New Mexico and driven this car in every condition possible and every terrain imaginable. Great little car that is comfortable, reliable, and gets outstanding gas mileage. Only had one minor problem and that has been with the headlights. One in particular goes out about every 12 months.

  • Best for you money - 2010 Toyota Corolla

I get a 2010 Corolla Le. I love it. I paid $15,422 for trust is the best for this you money. Fun to drive very good in gas this car do a miracle in the hwy nothing better for my money.

  • Overall a good car - 2001 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I bought my Corolla when it was at 12000 miles. It is at 82000 now. Just recently I had to replace a head gasket (and the interior door handle broke). While the head gasket was an expensive repair, its the first problem that Ive had with the car. The steering has loosened over time, but not to the point of concern. The gas mileage is very good (although I dont seem to get as good of mileage as the LE is rated to have - 32 city, 39 highway).

  • I love my corrola! - 2004 Toyota Corolla

The only complaint I have about the vehicle is the nasty smell that came from using the wrong brand of gas. Had I been informed of the need to stick to the ExxonMobil brands it would have saved me a lot of time and worry. Now, there is nothing keeping me from enjoying my ride.
