Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

More car for the money - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By Alek - November 19 - 4:20 pmThis is my first Toyota. I have always had Civic, but Honda got pricey. I am impressed with Corolla. What a value. Seat is high, ride smooth. Sure Civic is more stylish but similarly equipped is not worth extra 4 K. Have it for over 2 weeks and still use gas from the dealer. Very good value especially if you do not add extras. Factory equipped is good for me. All I need is AC and Stereo. I do not get it why Edmund says it is too expensive. Compare to Honda it is a bargain. You can get it below Invoice while Honda wants at least MSRP or more.

Toyota Final Review - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By kennison - November 19 - 2:30 amAn excellent vehicle! I am 72 and have owned many vehicles from the Ford Model A to luxury Mercedes. The Corolla is one of the most practical and reliable cars on the market. Dont waste your time and money on lesser autos...advice from an old man!

Great Little Car - 2011 Toyota Corolla
By tell302man - November 18 - 4:22 amThis car is perfect. I believe some of these reviews are written by Domestic car owners to make this car look bad. I have a Solara with 230,000 miles and this Corolla seems ever bit as good. Dont believe this nonsense about Toyota not being the best! They are the BEST!

2007 Corolla LE Auto - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By david - November 16 - 8:40 pmI just recently purchased my 2007 Corolla and it has 9400 miles on it and I love the car. I am getting combined mileage of 31 mpg! It runs and drives great, I test drove several other cars and decided this is the best value and do not regret it one bit. I highly recommend this car to anyone looking for an economical vehicle.

Great car, Great Value! - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By FratGuy03 - November 11 - 10:23 amI have owned my Corolla S 5 speed for one week and have put 1000 miles on it. This car is great! Great fuel economy, good performance and very comfortable to drive. The car has an awesome suspension and drives great on the highway as well as on the back roads. I am 26 and used to think that Toyotas were boring... now I think the value and reliability of the Corolla are paramount.

Love it, just needs a few tweaks - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By aquila - November 10 - 10:00 amI could not be more pleased with the smooth drive, "wood" trim, sound system, etc. The drivers seat can get a bit uncomfortable, and the blind spot on the left is especially hard to see. I get great gas mileage, and I love my cruise control. Great car to own.

Love Our Corolla - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By smokejumper1967 - November 10 - 10:00 amWe had had our Corolla now for 3 months and have used it for three long trips of over 400 miles. The mileage was great at about 36+ miles per gallon at upward average speeds of between 70-80 mph. It is very zippy and has a good burst of energy to pass slower vehicles. A true value and worth the money.

Overall a good basic car - 2008 Toyota Corolla
By Peyin - November 7 - 3:03 amPerformance is adequate for a four banger with a 1.8 liter. Economy is excellent, seats are not all comfortable for tall or bigger people, the ride is bouncy, ac feels great, its a pity to say but definitely feels like its made in the USA, at a little less than 30,000 miles, as a 20 yr Toyota owner I can testify that Toyota quality has been compromised .

best in class - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By derek - November 6 - 11:50 pmthough one could complain about things such as lack of power, wind/road noise etc. you have to keep things in perspective. this is an economy car, and as such i feel it offers more than any other car in this class. it has a smooth, quiet ride for this class, i am getting 38 mpg in a mix of city/highway driving(about a 40/60 mix), and the manual transmission shifts smoothly.
