Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • The Best Car Ever - 1997 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I, unfortunately, was forced to sell my car 6 months ago because of a move. It was the best car ever! My mom purchased it new in 1997 and she passed it on to me with 30,000 miles in 2000. I drove it on long trips, long commutes, and stop and go traffic for 8 years and it NEVER gave me any trouble. The only thing I changed on it is the battery after 9 years of use and the tires because of normal wear and tear. I did regular maintenance on it to make sure it stayed happy and thats all I needed to do. I miss that car so much. If you get a chance to get one, buy it, you will not be disappointed!

  • Not all I hoped for - 2009 Toyota Corolla

The car is okay. Nothing spectacular, I guess. The biggest disappointment Ive had so far is that Im getting about 21, 22 miles to the gallon despite the EPA estimate. I expected to do a little worse than the estimate, but not quite that bad. I dont know why my numbers are so much worse than everyone elses, but this is a big let down.

My husband and I were very happy and pleased with the performance of the salesman. No pressure was done on his behalf. The driving was excellent, and would recommend to others.

  • Interior problem - 2010 Toyota Corolla
    By -

Just bought the 2010 LE corolla, car performance and style looks great. We have a major issue that nobody wants to address. Toyota says you bought it now live with it. Please analyze this problem the interior material on all seats have tons of lint every time somebody sits in it. The material is very poor quality. Does anyone else have this problem? Please do a review on this subject. Defect or not?

  • No seat support. View not prcise - 2016 Toyota Corolla
    By -

Owned a 2003 Corolla S for 12 yrs. Had great back/lumbar support, handled well-one with the car) The 2016 has no back support = back stress! Need a rolled towel or pillow to support. NOT safe-after/during rain-the front windshield FOGS up continuous! Have to use wipers all the time...to clear the fog since defroster or change temperature does not clear it. (2003 Corolla never fogged after rain - had 12 yrs..) Car feels more bulky (not tight with road). Bad view/feel of outer car for turning/parking..so got to check how far pulled up, to park. Never had to issue with any other car! Interior looks cheaper than past models. Front outer grill a bit too much. Speakers not as good as my 2003. ECO mode light comes on = good.

  • Why I like the 07 Corolla - 2007 Toyota Corolla

I love the way that it fits to my body. I sat in it at the dealership and I instantly fell in love. Samantha, (my saleswoman)is young, so she and I were able to relate about the sleek design and look that it has. The way that it handles the road makes me smile, and its ability to move so quickly are awsome!

  • Very nice and reliable car for your bucks - 2011 Toyota Corolla

It is clean, very well maintained. Oil change and tuneups on a regular basis when needed. This car has leather seats. Front Heated seats. Remote Starter. This is after markets value.

  • Best Car - 2004 Toyota Corolla

I have a 120 mile round trip to and from work and this is the best car I have ever owned. Bought it new and other than tires, oil changes, serpentine belt and a new battery, thats it. The car is great. My son has a 2003 and has had the same experience. Going the speed limit I can average 43 mpg on the interstate. I now have 155,000 miles on it and am sure it will make it to at least 300,000 and beyond. This care is flawless mechanically. Now all my family including my wife and daughter have bought Toyotas.
