Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Worth every Penny and Dollar $$ - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Gordon Graf - February 17 - 7:30 amThis car is more then what I expected, it is great looking and fun to drive. I have had many comments that it looks like a baby lexus. This vehicle has it all, great looks comfort and super gas mileage. I have owned many american made cars, but what impressed me the most was how solid this car feels and how great the fit and finish is. My american cars always had squeaks and rattles after the first hundred miles or so. I am looking forward to many reliable and trouble free miles. Way to go Toyota for building a well executed car. Heres to moving you forward!

Great Reliable car - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By Crombie - February 17 - 4:23 amI like how many of the reviews on this car from people are negative since the issue with the recalls. If you go back a couple pages to before December 2009 you will find the truth. Over all this is a great vehicle. Its by no means luxury. but it gets the job done every time. My Toyota like many others got a new set of tires and brakes at 45,000 but who cares. motor and trans are still tight. Im sure I will see 200,000 out of this car. A great value and best in class for sure I had a 2003 before I bought my 2007 and put 286,000 on it without so much as replacing the alternator. I think battery tires brakes were it. keep making them Ill keep buying them.

Cheapest car buyer wins with Edmunds - 2016 Toyota Corolla
By ralph sathre - February 14 - 7:30 amIm the cheapest car buyer out there. I dont fall for the gimmicks of cash back, getting jacked on trade in values or being sold something I dont want like extended warranties or floor mats. I walk out of the dealerships on a regualr basis when the price isnt right. NO exceptions. They train these car salesmen on how to sell you stuff. If they can get you to test drive it then they say youve all but bought it. Not me. So when I knew what I wanted in a car, I tried Edmunds. They sent out inquiries to all the dealerships in my area of exactly what i was looking for. Two dealerships came back. One dealership was lying they never had the car but i wont mention their name. The other dealership was 40 miles away had 3 colors to choose from and the Edmunds price guarantee beat the best price I could negotiate myself after working at it for months. I couldt believe it . So the car dealer honored the Edmunds price and i picked my favorite color and I am one happy car buying customer. Edmunds beat everybody credit unions big box stores you name it. And i got it below what the average buyer paid for this exact car. Thanks Santa.....I mean Edmunds!!!!!

Good - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By Jason Rodriguez - February 12 - 12:47 pmSo far ok. The car makes a bad noise every time I turn it on. The oil consumption is also bad I have to constantly check the oil it run out before I have to do the change. I had to change the water pump and the alternator in this car. Plus Toyota had to cut the gas pedal it was getting stuck with the rug. In the other hand I have the car for 7 years it have 140,000 miles I have gone all over the US with my car and this are the only things that have happen.

Great little car! - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By eemg6 - February 10 - 10:00 amMy parents got me this car to drive to college and they have not regretted it. At 5,142 miles, it has plenty of pep-my mother prefers to drive it than her Lexus! The fuel economy is excellent, and the saftey features are also very appreciated. The only problem I have had is the passenger side power window/lock piece springing up-but the dealer replaced it with no charge. It is definately a fun, reliable, and practical car. I would most certainly recommend the Toyota Corolla.

Breaking the Corolla Legacy - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By S Leney - February 10 - 10:00 amIve always been a big Toyota fan and the reliability of the Corolla speaks for itself. So I was shocked to learn that at 70K miles Im suddenly burning 1L oil/500 miles. My dealer has recognized this as an increasingly common problem with corollas with the aluminum block engine. Botton-line, engine rebuild even earlier than your average Dodge. BEWARE!

Great little car - 2001 Toyota Corolla
By farrellcsun - February 10 - 10:00 amI really like my 2001 Toyota Corolla S. I like it for its great fuel economy and spunky little engine. The styling both inside and out can be a little more adventurous, but you dont become a best-seller on looks alone. THe quality is top notch and i havent had any major problems with it at all (I am a heavy driver). Of course the interior is a little cramped, but its a COMPACT people! If you want something bigger, get a Camry or ACcord! Otherwise, i highly recommend this car.

Happy owner - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Loua - February 10 - 10:00 amBought the car one year ago. Best gas mileage its been around 38.2 MPG. handles very nice, althought the air conditioner quit working alltogether for the whole day while 100 degree temp. Next day and thereafter has been working find. Cant tell why?. The car is solid, but when pushed, I can feel mechanical fatigue. But what do you expect from a $16K car. I have got the S. model. Looks good. I which it had 10 more horses. Highly recommended.

S for Sports or Superb?!? - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By japple - February 10 - 10:00 amI just purchased the 04 Corolla S and IÂ’m being pleasantly surprised by my purchase. Narrowing down my selection to the Corolla from four other makes was rather easy. Price, previous experience and happy customers were the main factors to pick the 04 S. After the test drive I was impressed with the acceleration, handling, and maneuverability of the car. The small 1.8 Liter 16 valve engine performs at itÂ’s best to bring the maximum satisfaction. The interior is simple but the workmanship is very proficient. The exterior gives the final touch to bring a small passenger car to the class of a sporty sedan.

Pretty good reliable car - 1999 Toyota Corolla
By Melissa - February 8 - 11:40 amI was very much enjoying my little Toyota. It got pretty good gas mileage and didnt need much maintenance. My car was totaled, so I dont get to drive it anymore. I think if you get one low mileage you can drive the wheels off of it! The only complaint is that back seat space is tight.
