Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Faithful little car - 2007 Toyota Corolla
By catherine r - March 14 - 7:50 pmMechanic says at 125,000 miles (mostly highway miles) itll go another 125,000. Its that well-made. Rust appeared only in 10th year of ownership and I had it removed. Now its like new.

good lil car - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By vaipunk - March 12 - 2:00 amDecent car...tends to get blown around on the highway. My CD player doesnt fit right into my dash...and seal around drivers side rear fell off, both will get addressed at next o/c. Car gets great gas mileage and has little road noise. Brakes are great, and roomy interior.

Seems just fine so far - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By Andrea - March 11 - 8:13 pmSo far I am enjoying the new Corolla. My last car was a 2000 Subaru wagon that died an untimely death; with only 170K I was hoping to get at least 8 more years out of it. However, the LE is far more luxurious than the Subaru. It seems to handle well despite the narrower wheelbase, the mileage (averaging 40MPG) is phenomenal & the car reasonably versatile for a sedan. The car has decent pickup (important in insane Atlanta traffic) and is stable on the highway. Its very comfortable on a long commute (anywhere from 35 minutes to three hours), & I can pack two Goldens and a Labrakita in it with ease if I have enough stinky tuna treats.

XRS is worth it - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Dave - March 11 - 7:26 pmI had purchased a Matrix XR...always wishing I had a Matrix XRS. I couldnt find one when I started looking again so I got the Corolla XRS and am loving it. Ive put 15000 miles on it in the last year. I purchased snow tires for winter as the summer rated tires suck in the snow and cold we have in Minnesota.

06 XRS - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Tony M. - March 8 - 7:03 pmOverall the XRS is a great car. It looks and feels sporty. You get great gas mileage combined with performance and looks. The car has great acceleration and handles well on turns. It has a sleeper look so some people may confuse it for an "S" or regular corolla. Theyll be surprised. Youll hit 80 mph on the freeway without a sweat. The car is simply a lot of fun to drive.

fun little car - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By 2004toyotacorolla - March 7 - 2:00 amI test drove both the Scion and the Corolla and went with the Corolla because it had more pickup and comfortable handling. I love the fact that the car is taller than most sedan models because I feel almost as tall as the larger SUVs on the road.

Great Car - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Ashley226 - March 6 - 1:33 amI bought this car because I drive for work. I get on average 35 mpg and that is city and highway. Four-cylinder but it has get up and go when you need it. I definitely recommend. Also recommend getting the steel reinforced doors as an extra safety feature.
