Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Ive put 217k on my car, I commute to my job I do the maintenance on this vehicle myself, iridium plugs, serpentine belt, oil changes ac relay at 153k $90 at the dealers. I was a mechanic in the service, so not a problem, tires at 50k intervals, I put aftermarket rims on it after I lost a few hubcaps on the road, this vehicle has been a great investment and good amigo.

I test drove the Toyaota Corolla, loved it. Not to mention the warranty is amazing. It took me 3 weeks to make a finale decision on a new vehicle. I did not go with the Corolla only because my full coverage insurance would double on this vehicle. So please before you buy call your insurance and ask for a insurance quote. That may make your decision for you. I bought a new 2011 Jeep Patriot and my insurance only went up 20.00. Please get a quote first! Tough decision.

Well you cant expect everything from an economy car. No frills here, but as far as economy and reliability are concerned this is the car to have. I have found it easy to drive/maneuver and surprisingly zippy for the small engine. The ergonomics and placement of interior controls are right on. The stereo even sounds quite impressive.

Ive changed cars a lot over the years. I plan to actually keep this one. I like the way it handles, looks and the gas mileage. Its comfortable and just the right size. Small enough to be easily manuevered into parking spots but nicely fits up to 4 adults and a child.

This will probably be our last car. My husband is 85. The both of us love this car. I am always the first one out from a traffic light. The car handles beautifully. I drive mostly on city streets but occasionally I do drive on the Southern California freeways. Over 55 years we have had quite a few cars including a Cadillac and three Mercedes. This car beats them all. The only problem is getting into the car. My husband is 511" and I am 54", and we both have trouble getting in. But I just say, "Hey, its a sports car. What do you expect? Someone complained about the colors. It only comes in white, blue and black cherry pearl. We got the black cherry. You never miss it in a parking lot. And since Toyota made only 8,100 of them you probably wont see it very often. We bought the car through Costco.

The car is what you pay for. It is very economical, but not what I expected from a Toyota. If you want a cheap car that you want as a beater this car will do. Dont look for quality when buying this car. This was my first Toyota and I probably wonÂ’t go back. However, I would recommend it to others. Toyota wasnt for me.
