Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

The joy of steering - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By PN - June 26 - 10:20 amGot the car on the last day of 2009 for two reasons: needed a new car asap since my car was totaled, and wanted to avail of the sales tax credit for 2009. Car is okay, very bland people transporter, but the great gas mileage makes up for it. Complained to dealer after two weeks from purchase about "wandering steering"-not sure if it was related to tires, alignment or the steering system. Dealer tells me they have never heard of this complaint and to bring it back later if problem persists so they can check. And now here is Toyota claiming the Corolla steering MAY have some problems. Fun times ahead for all of us new Toyota owners.

Im loving my rolla - 1994 Toyota Corolla
By Todd - June 24 - 11:06 pmI bought this car used with 139,000 miles on it. About 4 months later, Im up to 145,000. This was just going to be a "drive to work" car to save gas. Now, its a drive all the time car. Its so easy to maneuver around town, I cant stand to drive my Taurus anymore. Gas mileage is generally around 32/33 mixed use. Have not had any mechanical issues AT ALL. Standard low beam lights were a little too low for me but the bright lights were the brightest Id seen on a car. Rear defrost is nice and this car heats up very quickly. Even with the fan off, it will roast you at full temperature. Car has plenty of power at full speed but pick-up leaves something to be desired.

Best Car I Ever Owned - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By John - June 24 - 10:03 pmI have always owned Chrysler products. This the first Toyota Ive ever owned but it will not be the last. Have not one problem with it other than the routine oil changes it has never been in the shop. The only complant I have is that it lacks a little power when the AC is on and no remote trunk release with keyless entry.

Great Car - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By Jim12345 - June 23 - 10:00 amIve had this car for nine months and made two cross country trips - it is great. Gas mileage is outstanding and it will run with the crowd at speed on the interstate with no problem at all. Car was perfect at delivery and zero problems. I could wish that the materials in the interior were a little better, but for the price I dont think it can be beat. It is probably the best overall quality car Ive had, including some which were much more expensive.

Toyota 06 S - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By jaesongld - June 21 - 1:46 amThis is my 7th corolla ,but it is by far my favorite. I think it is very peppy, it looks great, to its earlier models, my last being a 2000. I look forward to many years of fun driving with my fully loaded S 2006.

05 Corolla CE - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By April - June 20 - 11:40 pmGreat car! Good acceleration and acceptable stereo. Only undesirable interior design factor I have found is driver side right arm rest.Theres not much too it and its kind of awkward to have you arm rest on it. Out of 10, overall, I give the Toyota Corolla CE a 9.5!
