Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • The Best Car Ive EVER Owned! - 2005 Toyota Corolla

I love my Corolla. It has been a joy to own this car. Its roomy, fun, comfortable and very reliable not to mention great on gas! I have two teenagers and we went on vacation shortly after buying it. There was plenty of room for everything. We went to the Smokies and had no problem with the cars performance in the mountains even though it was loaded down and the a/c was on. Id recommend it for anyone.

  • Best of the Compacts!!! - 2011 Toyota Corolla

I recently purchased this car after conducting extensive research on it and test driving several of its competitors including the Mazda 3, Hyundai Elantra, Hyundai Sonata, and Volkswagen Jetta. Despite some nice features and futuristic design elements found on the other models particularly the Hyundai Elantra, I eventually opted for the Corolla S based on its smooth quiet ride, spacious interior, excellent reliability history, attractive exterior, and top-notch safety ratings. After owning the Corolla for a few weeks now, I couldnt be happier with my decision.

Great car. Dont understand the steering problem with some people. At 80 miles per hour on the interstate car runs smoothly, very quiet and stays in line.

  • Very Pleased - 2010 Toyota Corolla

I could not be more satisfied with my Corolla. Sharp exterior looks and a decent interior. Not the highest end interior but not offensively cheap. The best part of the car has to be the excellent fuel economy. I average between 36-39MPG regularly. The the manual transmission, power is there when it is needed. Is the car a racer? No. But for good, reliable, economic transportation that youre not embarrassed to drive, the Corolla is your car.

  • Great Car!!!! - 1996 Toyota Corolla

This car has been excellent! I got it used from my Grandfather who used it to deliver the mail in the country. The car body sure took a beating on all those dirt roads, but I have had no mechanical problems with it thus far. I have had it for over 4 years. It gets GREAT gas mileage even in the city. Even with such high mileage, it has performed great--unlike my parents American-made cars(GMC Yukon and Ford Mustang) that have had MAJOR problems within 2 years of buying brand new. I am very impressed with Toyota and would highly recommend this car to everyone.

my wife bought this car new 9 years and 214,000 miles ago. other than brakes and tires all parts are original with the exception of the starter, which we replaced last year. we are not gental car owners; its maybe been washed 4 times, we have driven 4 hours with two large dogs(over 200lbs) in the back seat (many times), and for the last two years abused by my daughter. it makes that energiser bunny look like a wuss. its taken us from college to first jobs, from apartments to first home, through dating to marrige and kids. best built car ever.

  • A big inconvinient - 2016 Toyota Corolla

If you buy model corolla L 2016 there is not cruise control and according to the parts department it is no even an option to buy it and have the dealer install it.

Have had just over a month so far I like the car.The biggest negative is the pre collision system. I had a Subaru with Eyesight that worked flawlessly as for the Toyota PCS with p is a POS it just does not work if I knew how bad it was I would have spent the extra money and bought another Subaru. So much for Toyota I will drive it a couple of years and than go back to a Subaru. Also customer service is quite poor with Toyota I guess after dealing with Subaru in the 10 years or so they are tops in taking care of there customers always. Sorry Toyota this will be the last purchase that you will get from me....
