Overview & Reviews
After a full redesign last year, the Corolla carries over unchanged for 2004.
- Refined and roomy interior, excellent gas mileage and crash test scores, illustrious reliability record.
- Awkward driver-seat position, bland personality, sedan body style only.

Best Car Ive Ever Owned! - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Happy Driver! - April 24 - 7:40 amGot this car used with 70,000 miles and it gave me no problems whatsoever. I drove this car from November 2008 until March 2010 and the only thing I had a problem with was the locks. This car is reliable, handles well and can last an eternity if taken care of it well. The only reason I dont have it is because it got stolen! =( but my next purchase will be a Corolla S Type once again. The Corolla S types built from 2003 to 2008 are gold!

Nice Car - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Streeter - April 9 - 10:00 amI bought this car for my wife to drive. She toattly loves it. I am 62" and I fit in it comfortably. We havee the LE with cruise and the winter package. Toyota does a nice job with the features standard with the LE. SO far we are very happy with it. I considered a Focus and a Civic. The Civic was about a $1000 more and the Focus with $2500 rebate would have been about $1000 less. Overall I feel this was the best deal given the price and the realibiblity I expect from it going forward.

great gas saver - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Larry Beach - April 9 - 10:00 amI am very happy with my Corolla so far, plenty of power with the 5-speed. It is a very smooth riding car. The best thing to me is the mpg. I am getting between 41-47 mpg!

Great Car - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By CodeKat - April 9 - 10:00 amThe Corolla is an all around great car. Great styling inside and out, great gas milage, great ride (even on Pennsylvania roads), I love it. The up hill acceleration is a bit slow, but still a bit better than my 96 Neon. I spend about an hour and 40 mins driving my car every day, so i know what I am talking about.

first impressions - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By vt2nv - March 19 - 10:00 amI was initially impressed with the styling of the 03. Kind of european, not nearly as pedestrian as our 00. We wanted a manual, we ended up with an automatic. The car was driven up over the Sierra Nevada mountain range as part of our test drive. The car handled beautifully on hairpin turns, and had more than enough power to climb the miles long road. The climb was done with overdrive defeated. With O/D off the car never doenshifted, there was plenty of power. The car does not feel underpowered. Fit and finish of the car is very good. There is more room due to the new styling, very welcome indeed. The car is very, very solid.

No Regrets - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By sabari - March 8 - 2:00 amAfter test driving most of the other competing Japanese cars I decided to settle for Corolla LE considering the Quality, Economy, Resale value, Technology & the Design. Last but not the least the price which you pay to get all the above factors matching nearer to your satisfaction.

A little luxury car... - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By OMD - March 8 - 2:00 amConsidered owning Subaru Forester, couldnt justify spending 23K and up, even though AWD is great. Chose Corolla because it fits my budget, had more comfortable ride & felt more luxurious than Civic. Automatic plenty peppy, but engine quite noisy under hard accelaration. Otherwise pretty quiet in the cabin. Workmanship is superb - you feel like a million bucks - no rattles, loose panels - everything works like a charm. The 6-speaker CD/Radio/Cassette system is superb. Got this baby at dealer invoice but worth every penny even at MSRP.
