Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Cant hate it, Cant live without it. - 1995 Toyota Corolla
By Jay Jay - June 5 - 10:00 amThe corolla is absolutly the nicest car in my eyes. This car has style, comfort, good performance, and the best quality of any car. I think a corolla is better then any civic or other cars. I just went on a trip to nevada, and Arizona. 2 of the hottest cities. Can u imagine what heat can do to a a car? Well not this yota rolla. This rolla was rolling through heat. I never had to fix it and i never had any problems with this car. Simply amazing, im amazed on how toyota does this.

My new car - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By bdb - June 5 - 10:00 amThis was my first new car since 1989. I purchased a indigo blue 4 door Corolla 4 door sedan. Ive had Fords, GM and Dodges in the past. This is by far the most superior car in the price range ($13,000) that I have ever owned. Everything that a drive needs to get to is in easy reach. The fit and finish are wonderful. Everything about the car is exceptional. It rides smooth and has plenty of pep. When I went shopping I quoted the price as it was given in Edmunds and got it on my first call. Thanks Edmunds for making the car buying experience hassle free!!

2010 Toyota corolla S - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By angel - June 1 - 8:53 amI recently bought a Toyota s, at first sight I loved it but when I put it to the test and decided to step on the gas it was like if some thing was holding me back or if the car was too heavy. I would try to pass up cars but the poor acceleration made it difficult. Also the handbrake doesnt perform as well as I thought it would.

Enjoyed it while I had it but decided to trade in. - 2013 Toyota Corolla
By camrygirl2 - May 31 - 11:13 pm2013 Corolla LE w/ complete package. Cute, stylish & economical car. Was averaging around 30-34 mpg in town. Full tank gets you 400 miles + . Had steering wheel issue but the problem was fixed by dealership under warranty. Touch screen display not as responsive & had to push it a couple times. Entunes could use some improvement. The sound system is nice. Loved my sunroof. Sometimes its much nicer to drive a smaller car because you can make quick u turns & fit into smaller parking areas. I really liked this car but it didnt have enough power for me. I didnt feel comfortable merging on to busy freeways/highways. Also space & leg room felt kind of tight. Other than that this is a great car.

Living up to the Toyota name - 1994 Toyota Corolla
By cpm199 - May 31 - 10:00 amWith just regular maintenance this car has been rock solid. Its certainly not a hot rod, but to its credit with the 5 speed manual transmission it is quite peppy. My wife and I are looking at starting our family soon and when we do we will say goodbye to our trusty Corolla in lieu of a, yet to be determined, SUV.

Poor substitute for an American car - 2002 Toyota Corolla
By Auto Enthusiast - May 31 - 10:00 amReasonably comfortable, utilitarian vehicle. However, the fuel efficiency has not been impressive. I will probably purchase an American car next, because: 1. Their engineering and design teams are making substantial progress toward reestablishing themselves as innovators. 2. The aggressive discounting by the American automobile companies has made their cars an unmatched value. Can you tell that I regret the purchase and wish Id bought a far- superior -- and cheaper -- American car, instead?

By thomas schimd - May 27 - 10:13 pmI have owned several Corollas in the past and I think that the 2005 Corolla is one of the best yet. A very peppy engine and a really quiet ride. plus , with all of the amenities like 6 c.d. player, cruise, power locks, windows, remote keyless entry. I am very glad and happy with my purchase of my 2005 Toyota Corolla sport.

Incredibly practical car. - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By T.Fish - May 25 - 2:00 amIf you want excellent quality, reliability, resale, safety, and mileage, buy this car. If you want wild fun and excitement, look elsewhere. My first new car ever, and at $3000 down, $250/mo, I expect it to still be worth something after five years.
