Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Great car, sporty looks, good price - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Joshscar - June 19 - 10:00 amI have had this car for about 3 months, and it has been an awsome car! I liked the LE because it had a better quality interior and more little features such as a multiple conpartment armrest, two- tone interior, etc. I choose the auto. trans., and opted for the cruise control, anti-lock brakes, side curtain airbag, and the upgraded rims. The final cost including tax and fees was $17,300, which is a lot of car for not a lots of money. My Corolla performs well, and afterall, it is a toyota- so reliability should not be an issue.

Toyotas kick ass - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By MBMisHERE - June 19 - 10:00 amI have owned 2 Toyota Corollas the first was in 1995 and the second was purchased in 2003. This car has good get up and go a good size engine and basic maintenance is a piece of cake. The gas mileage is also good on this car. I do a lot of in town stop and go driving as well as long distance driving and have had very few problems with preformance. I did have to have the rear seat cover replaced and the cd player but it was warranty work so no big deal. I would suggest this car to anyone looking for a fun sporty car with plenty of room for four adults.

A Happy Dad - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By timandlorene - June 19 - 10:00 amThis vehicle is quite possibly one of the best values on the market today. The list of standard features is impressive; the options make it even better. Best of the best is the airbags. Two up front, two in the seats; and two side curtain airbags are an option. Pre-tensioners in the seatbelts take up slack......if you get hurt in this car you were probably going WAY too fast! 174 horsepower, 6-speed close ratio transmission, 0 to 60 in 7.1 seconds. 90 plus mph in the quarter-mile, and a governed top speed of 130 make this one seriously fun ride. A taunt sport suspension and 4 wheel ABS disc brakes bring this pocket rocket back to earth in short order

debs review - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By debashis bose - June 19 - 3:06 amthe car has a very nice interior and has excellent driving comfort. The car comes with some excellent features, like height adjustable driver seat, 6- CD changer, wooden type interiors etc. One of the features that I would havbe liked the car to have is the Anti Lock Braking system. At present it is an optional feature.

The first car i drove. - 1995 Toyota Corolla
By xmoparmanx - June 12 - 10:38 amI used this car as a teenager before i got my truck (thank GOD i finally look like a man) and it was a good car to learn to drive in. that is, if you dont mind looking like a little guy. but for real now. the car is very reliable for the most part. the few problems weve had with the car is the powersteering pump failing, the alternator breaking, and the starter not working. but other than that its been quite reliable. the only thing though is, it is in no way a high speed car. i drove this thing on the interstate and i was scared to go 70 cause the engine was pushing as hard as its little self could.

Disappointment - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Richard - June 11 - 8:03 amMy new manual Corolla has terrible fuel economy, 33mpg in the best case on hwy. Dealers service dept. claims "it is what is" and can not be improved.

Dependable car - as it should be - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By JSW - June 10 - 6:33 pmBought this after owning a 1996 Dodge Stratus. Have not regretted the decision. Fantastic commute car with EXCELLENT gas mileage. Now at almost 88K miles, its showing the wear and tear, but its a keeper. Reliable and very dependable vehicle. It has never let me down on my commute to Denver - even in winter snow storms. As for other reviewers that have reported mechanical problems...stuff like this happens, live with it.

Corolla S - drive it forever - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Mike - June 10 - 4:23 pmPurchased the car in may 2005 as a hedge on rising fuel prices - just in time! Maintenance free, fun to drive! 40+ MPG highway, mid 30s or better on average. Comfortable, roomy, reasonably quiet.
