Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • Should have bouth the Civic. - 2013 Toyota Corolla

I was looking at the Civic LX and The Corolla LE. I ended up with the Corolla. The dealer I worked with gave me an ok deal on the car and my trade, but it was the 0% financing that sealed the deal. I will say that I am not impressed with this car at all. It was in the garage 2 different time before I had 500 miles on it. vvt-i gears, both of them. Now Im going to be making another appointment because Im getting a very hard shift from 1st to 2nd gear. I should have went with the Civic.

Well, just destroyed my faithful 93 camry w/247k miles, and seeing as repairs are too much, the corolla has come into the pic. we were given a 2003 ce for rental, the wife loves it, i have to admit that i am actually giving it some thought, doubtless staying w/toyota. during the week that we have had it, we have definitely gotten comments for the looks, my sis (in her 97 camry) saw it and liked it more then hers. bigger/less boring than its predecessors (much bigger than 80 corolla i had, though sr-5 model looked good in its day). i might actually get this car over a new camry (i didnt really just say that)...

  • I hate the electric steering!! - 2009 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I bought this as a second car for my wife because she wanted a reliable vehicle and opted for the Corolla. Now I wish I would have convinced her to buy a Civic. I just deplore the electric steering. No feel whatsoever! Highway passing is a venture in itself. I found myself adjusting in the lane because of a dead spot in the wheel. Reminded me of the old Chev truck my father drove back in the sixties. Terrible! Another thing is the ride. I hate it. All this is good for is going to the grocery store. Good thing its only a few blocks away.

I love my car.It has a great body and I love the features like spoiler, alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, beautiful color (indigo ink)and I like the fuel economy. It could be better or worse but I am not complaining.I do think they should improve on the interior space.I also think they could improve on the pick-up speed of the car.It moves kinda slow but it is ok once you get going. All in all I love this car and would reccommend it to anyone.

  • ugh... - 2012 Toyota Corolla

i got this car as a gift but my dream car was the camry. i have the 2012 LE corolla but the 2012 Camry XLE was what i thought i was getting i was sadly mistaken. cons: inside is small and basic the shape is hideous there is just nothing positive about this car

  • Amazing Vehicle - 2003 Toyota Corolla

Since purchasing my Corolla, I have had no complaints at all. The build quality is fantastic, and the engine has a surprising amount of pep. It blows away all of the other economy cars Ive driven. Im totally satisfied. (Note that I was the primary driver for two years prior to my purchase of this vehicle, so my review covers the entire lifetime of the vehicle)

  • pretty cool, i think - 1999 Toyota Corolla
    By -

i bought this car with the purpose of doing pizza delivery - good job for a poor student, which on its turn defines the price range :). its quite impressive overall - stable, maneuverable, comfortable, fuel efficient, very quiet inside, somewhat fast (i believe manual is better). also pw, pdl, pm, sunroof, etc. there are also some cons, of course, which cannot spoil the good impression. there could have been more front leg room, the arm rest is far behind and cant be really used unless your arm has some strange form and the ashtray and the cup holders are ridiculously positioned. the pros are much more though.

  • Nothing better for the price. - 2003 Toyota Corolla

This is my first Toyota and I am very glad I bought this car. It is quiet, nice radio, good intruments layout and great driving comfort.

  • Great Reliable car! - 2004 Toyota Corolla
    By -

This is an amazing car. I must admit that, in my opinion, is not a good looking car at all, but if you are looking for a good, dependable car, this is it. In 90k miles I only changed the factory battery -after 5 years- the serpentine belt and water pump that was on warranty, so didnt pay for it. Other than that, oil change, filters and one set of brake pads + resurface rotors. Thats it. (Note: The good thing about this car is that it does not have a timing belt, it comes with a chain instead, hence, not needing a costly replacement. It also comes with disc brakes ONLY in the front, hence, maintenance is way cheaper). The ergonomics inside are not the best, but all in all, great car.

  • Luv the car and the MPG - 2003 Toyota Corolla

I run my corolla 90+ miles daily to and from work. During basketball season it gets me to all my games very reliably. Great car, Great MPG.
