Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

Excellent gas! - 2009 Toyota Corolla
By brandon - October 23 - 2:46 pmI got this car to knock around and get to work instead of driving my gas gulping 07 4runner. I am really impressed on how it rides and the styling of the corolla. I have the regular model and it has all of the features that the other models do except it does not have power windows. The engine is strong for a 1.8 liter and has ample pull with a smooth transmission. I love the color I got; its called Capri sea metallic which is a nice light green metallic and I have beige interior. The gas mileage is excellent. Im averaging 38 mpg

car making noise - 2013 Toyota Corolla
By miranda5 - October 23 - 5:06 amI bought my 2013 toyota corolla LE last July. Ive had two big problems so far. 1) screeching noise when cold start ( it has been going on for the whole winter) 2) starts from last month ( my car has 3500 miles so far), there has been whistling noise come from the front of my car when I speed up ( with the window open, I can hear very clearly. When the window is closed, I can barely hear it). The noise is really annoying......it makes me so worried...Im so scared by car problems.... The reason I bought a new car is because I dont want to have car problem any more...but look at this........... Does anyone has the same car problems as I do?

By rev4 - October 23 - 1:53 amThis is a great car. I am extremely happy with this car. I think the "road feel" is just fine. Anyway, I think the car is top quality, nice exterior, wonderful interior, great gas mileage, pleasant to drive in all circumstances. I am very pleased with this purchase.

OK car - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By okie - October 22 - 2:56 amThis car is for small people but has perks like the gas mileage. I have a 70 mile commute every workday and only spend 20 dollars on gas every week. It has flaws but they are minimal for the price. Anyone looking for a car with good reliability for its price and doesnt care about cosmetic problems will love it

Good lil car - 2002 Toyota Corolla
By mshor - October 22 - 2:00 amMy gripes with my 2002 Toyota Corolla is the seats, road noise and the cup holders. Seats: on long trips my back gets to hurting. Noise: I previously owned a Honda Accord and the quiet interior is something I miss. Freeway driving with the Corolla is quite noisy. The cup holders sit right in front of the stereo. If you have 16 oz. bottle of soda, you have to nudge it aside to adjust the stereo. I think they fixed this on the 2003 Corolla. Otherwise, this is a great little car. Its peppy, gets 35-40 MPG, and hasnt had any mechanical problems.

My 3rd Toyota is not a dream - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By nothappymemphian - October 22 - 12:46 amThis is my third Toyota it is a 2006 Corolla and I have had the transmission replaced twice and the computer replaced once. Now my engine light is on again. I am really not happy with this car. I never thought I would get a lemon from Toyota.

2008 Toyota Corolla - 2008 Toyota Corolla
By Suddhatma Mukherjee - October 21 - 8:10 amThe Toyota Corolla is not a fast car but is powerful enough for daily city drives and occasional holiday outing. It is more of a touring car rather than a racer or a rally car. The steering is superb with fine cornering abilities. Only the power for engine is a small let down. City driven mileage is 9.86 kmpl but highway driven mileage is 11.0 kmpl.

Great ride - 2003 Toyota Corolla
By jonll2 - October 17 - 10:00 amMy 94 Corolla just died with 250,000 miles. This new model needs a bit more power. And the driver side sunvisor is to long and it hits my rear view mirror. Other than that the car is great and fun to drive. Oh yeah the tires it came with needs to be upgreaded. It came with Firestone.
